    Hello everyone. To those who are asking the process in application. Here the following steps:
    1. Google schools in a particular state.
    2. Choose a school and go to a school’s website.
    3. Find Human Resource email address and mention the following:
    a. Introduce yourself, educational attainment, and teaching experience.
    b. Ask if their school can sponsor you through a J1 exhange teacher program.
    c. If yes, ask about the teaching certificate if you can take the test when you are already in the US. (This is what happen to me. Our employer agreed we will take the exams for the teaching certificate within one year of our stay in the US.)
    * It is important that you email the HR about this before you proceed becausemost schools are using online application. You cannot apply online if you do not have some of the requirements like any SSN (this number can only be taken once you arrived in the US), teaching certificate, fingerprint card, and US evaluated transcript of records.
    d. If the HR said yes, they can sponsor you through a J1. Ask what you will do with all of those requirements I mentioned in step 3.
    e. If you have a positive response from the HR, follow the steps I mentioned in my first video, You are almost good to go. 🙂

    Hello Ms. Alissa, how to have the bank statement po?

  • @titanrayven3275
    @titanrayven3275 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Ms. Alyssa. I will have my visa interview on June 15. My dilemna is I am expected in the US by July 24. My concern is I have not resigned yet in my current school(private school). At first, my plan was to resign only after my visa gets approved on June 15. The problem is if I will do that, I might not have enough time remaining to do clearance and other preps before I leave for US. In our school, we need to stay for 30 days more after I hand my letter of resignation. So that will be from June 16-Jul16. July 16 wil give me only a week left before I leave for US. Now I am thinking of handing my resignation before I get my visa approved. Do you think this is too risky? I know people secure their visas first before resigning in their current school but do you know teachers who resigned even before the approval of their visa, provided that they already have a job offer or a district already hired them?

    • @AlissaLifestyleVlog
      @AlissaLifestyleVlog  ปีที่แล้ว

      I did it so it was not too risky. Most J1 naman is approved. Just tender the 30 days notice para nagmomove na ang resignation mo

    Hello teacher!
    I hope this message finds you well.
    As a dedicated fan and subscriber, I regularly follow your TH-cam videos and deeply appreciate your insights. I am reaching out to seek your valuable advice regarding my career.
    I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) and worked as a licensed public Secondary English teacher with the Department of Education (DepEd) from 2013 to 2019. Since then, I have been an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) in Japan.
    I am now exploring teaching opportunities in the United States and would greatly appreciate your guidance on the best steps to take. Specifically, would you advise pursuing Special Education (SPED) units to enhance my chances of being hired? I understand that SPED teachers are in demand, and that it might be more challenging for Secondary English teachers to secure long-term positions and an H1B visa compared to SPED teachers.
    Your insights would be immensely helpful as I navigate this decision. Thank you very much for your time and advice.
    Sincerely,
    Nelson

    Hi Alissa, thanks a lot for your videos, they’re so helpful! I actually have 2 questions about the program that I hope you can answer.
    1. Can we start this program any time of the year (depending on the school’s needs) or has it to be in August?
    2. What if the school only wants to hire you for a short time ( e.g. one year). Can you apply for another school on the same visa?
    Hope you can help! Thanks 😊

      Yes you can and say that and it wont matter. Marami namang ganyan and they still got approved. Anyway, they already know that. They just want to confirm.
