This is so amazing. Finding people like you in this secrecy world is unbelievable. I really appreciate from the bottom of my heart. For an African having a passion on woodworking is a lot to me. Thanks. I will never miss your upcoming episides.
excellent guide Vitaliy! i've watched dozens of cabinet build videos the past couple years as i'm looking to make my own one day....and i've never seen one quite broken down like this. they usually post the steps as they build them....showing them cutting on the table saw etc. but i found this extremely easy to follow along. pretty confident in building my own after this...thank you!
Awesome, thank you! Honestly your feedback is totally helping me. I have been thinking a lot about how to present these DIY plans in a way that would be most helpful.
What a discovery. You have no idea how much you please beginners like me who dream of being able to build this kind of furniture. Thank you for your time and kindness. You have a new subscriber from Belgium.
This is super encouraging to hear! Thank you so much for your kind words, and welcome to the channel! I'm thrilled to have you on board, and I hope my projects continue to inspire you. Greetings to Belgium!
This is amazing! One of the first videos I've seen that makes the process feel doable, while still turning out a really quality product. I'd love to see a video for the 4 drawer design you showed at the end!
Thank you! I'm really glad you found value in the video. I have plenty of other plans and videos coming, so stay tuned for more! Feel free to check out my other projects as well. Appreciate the support!
Great explanation. This is what I needed to motivate me to build pantry cabinets as I was quoted over 6k for 3 lowers and 2 uppers. I was going to make that 1/4” groove with my table saw and make a couple of passes but I think I’ll just by a handheld router since I’m saving so much money by making them myself.
Video and Instruction are absolutely top notch - thank you for that. My one input: do away with the background music.. or take down the level... or maybe use in between sections.. but preferably do away with. But yeah, fantastic vid regardless. Thank you for your Great work!
@mambi74 I always struggle with that! I feel like no music might make it too plain, but I also don’t want it to distract from the content. Does anyone else think the music needs to go? I’m open to experimenting to make sure you guys get the best experience as more videos roll out!
Great videos! I got the plans for these base cabinets on your Etsy and I can’t wait to start on the project! Do you by chance have plans for upper cabinets as well?
@lucapascarella2597 Yes, I do! Shoot me a direct message on Etsy with your email, and I’ll send over the unpublished copy. I’m still working on listing it on my site, but the plan is ready to go!
@harrisedgar Yeah, that would be nice! Where are you watching from? Is plywood the same over there? It feels like every country has its own standards, so it’s tricky to make a video that fits everyone.
@@gooddiyplans8855 Thanks for asking, all plywood sizes are metric (even in the US as far as I know, they might commercialize them in inches nominally) and in Mexico lumber in only sold in inches and feet and Canada too but that’s about it. For commercial purposes imperial system has prevailed in the wood market (bolts and nuts too) here in Mexico. Other than all measurements are metric.
@dtcoleman05 For each cabinet, you’ll need 1 sheet of 3/4″ plywood and 1 sheet of 1/4″ plywood. You’ll pretty much use all of the 3/4″ sheet, but only part of the 1/4″. If you plan to build 4 cabinets, it’s more efficient-4 sheets of 3/4″ and just 2 sheets of 1/4″ plywood will cover it all. Nice and straightforward!

Yes, it can definitely get pricey! Either method works great-I just showed one way to do it. Best of luck with your pantry cabinets!

Do have the plans for the cabinet available in centimeters?
@riaanbruyns6744 Only in inches for now, but I’ll keep that in mind for the future!
