I get the feeling that most of this audience has no clue how special this get-together truly was.
Sorry so late but I would cut my leg off to see this
They just looked so happy playing it, saying to each other "Holy crap, we still got this."
I was thinking the same thing! Love it!
A really fun reminder that all 3 of them play their asses off, and play off of each other really really well!
Amazing jam session song reunion.
The sheer joy they get is our reward
2:25 Sara Watkins tuning while playing like a boss.
Man you know they had fun playing together! I hope there's hope for more them coming together in the future...
It is amazing how ridiculously talented these guys are. We all hold fast for a reunion.
New Tour and album, go Nickel Creek!
If I'd been in the audience, I would have been weeping . . . for what has been, and what can never be.
Found this little behind everybody else Sarah Watkins is really true gem here
Marvellous - Love Nickel Creek
Nice to see the three of them having fun playing this gem
Sean and Chris' solo faces are polar opposites. It's brilliant.
Sean goes into a vegetative state.
love the rainbow kid in the front row, forever immortalized....picking, not a guitar, but the nose....
I would have absolutely loved to see this.
They have so much music in them. The music oozes out of them!
All three are amazing.
Very glad Nickel Creek is back together. "A Dotted Line" is a fine album, they are all very talented musicians!
Great write up in Sunday March 30th, 2014 New York Times Arts & Leisure section mentioning TH-cam videos of this performance.
Nickel Creek rocks!
What a special moment!!
SIMPLY GREAT!!!
Genius on stage people! Well, one officially anyway.
what a freakin special moment!!!!!
wow sara looks so cute. what an underrated band too
100% Agreed
Thank you for posting this - I keep dreaming I'll see them together again live. This must have been a memorable experience - thanks again for sharing
Yes!
Saw them back in 2007 or so with Bela Fleck in Tn, show was awesome. If you've never seen them live, do so; it is well worth the time / money.
Yeah I saw them in Asheville with him... did they do the thing where they each did a special song just Bela and each of them individually? That was my favorite part.
Saw them live at the Mountain Lair in Morgantown WV, I'm thinking just after the release of their 2nd album. Holly Molly did they raise the roof that night!!
This was a great find! I just wonder if there will be another Nickel Creek album, the play so great together!
This song brings back such awesome memories. My little brother's name is John, his nick name is John John. Of course he thought this song was written for him when he was 3. "John John the gray goose is gone".
hahaha wow that kid is diggin for gold! 01:49
👏👏👏👏
😂❤
Nose miner at 1:50. +1
Wearing it out!! ●
❤❤❤❤❤😂
totally underrated band, awesome stuff
I'd love a cuddle
But what does the fox say?
All three of these guys: incredible musicians. Could use a bass player in there, though.
awesome- shame the mikes were not balanced.
Does he drop a MFer at 2:27
I think he did, based on the look Sara gives him right after.
I see what you did there.
If Chris had no ears, his grin would go all the way around his head.
This would sound a hell of a lot better if that guitar was in tune. I don't know if it's the recording or what, but I'm really surprised that a professional would be playing with an out of tune instrument. I love the group though, and we get the opportunity to witness the greatest mandolin player of all time in action!
the kid wiping his nose= no no
That would have been truly great if the guitar wasn’t so dangled LOUD in the mix. You can hardly hear the fiddle.
I need more guitar in the monitor please
Nickel Creek is great, but this song isn't complete without an upright bass.
Is it just me... Or did Sean get a bit... Plump.
