Seen Chris Thile with the Punch Brothers Band and Sara and Sean Watkins with their own band. Like to see Nickel Creek back together though.

Sara would agree that if she’s appearing with Sean Watkins and Chris Thile, the band name is Nickel Creek, not the Sara Watkins Band
That year, at Newport Folk, Sara and Sean were playing separately from Chris. Sara and Sean were indeed billed as the Sara Watkins Band. Besides their main stage appearance, she and Sean and band did an unannounced set at the Family Stage tent, and Chris, unexpectedly, showed up and joined in, making for a reunion of Nickel Creek, who had by then broken up. I ran that tent at Newport, and was privy to the whole affair.

Saw those guys in Bakersfied way back when Sarah was maybe 12? Chris' dad was the bass player back then. Never stopped loving their stuff.
