My top 5 most cherished Eagles moments; 1. Gaff breaks Brayshaw's jaw. 2. Gardiner uses Pavlich's head as a boxing bag. 3. Phil Read brawling with the purple crabs. 4. The moment the purple crabs won their first wooden spoon. 5. The purple crabs being on top of the ladder all year in 2015 yet the Eagles make the grand final and my missus had flights booked thinking her team was going to be in it. She had to reluctantly ask to wear my Eagles guernsey instead. I refused and gave her my Bali cheap shirt. 🤣
One of my favourite games is what I would call the best game of footy the eagles have played this century. At home to the Crows in 2006. Crows were dominant to that stage of the season, and a couple of games clear on top. They came to Subi in a top of the table clash, and got rolled over by 80+ It’s the best Eagles footy I recall ever watching live. Just utterly dominant from start to finish.
My personal story of the 2017 final is that my mum is a Port member so I was at the game with her at the Shuey end. By complete coincidence I stayed in the team hotel, met Simmo in the gym at lunch time and after the game had a beer with Gaff (lovely guy) and hung out with Brad Sheppard and his Dad and sister for a while (amazing family - top class people). The chairman of the club bought be a beer. Funny watching them come back via the side door (its roped off) and having Gov doing "Hail Shuey!" bows as they came into the hotel (they didn't come and grab a drink unfortunately).
I was at that prelim chanting mcg along with the crowd, amazing. The qualifier against the pies two weeks earlier was great too, sitting alongside about 200 pies supporters as we kicked 5 in the last. Not a game, but the boys last training session at subi with about 10k people was pretty amazing. But the Gov, Vardy, Flyin, Dom play in the gf, and win, is my best.
I was at the Le Cras 12 goal game, my first interstate game and it was a great choice! I'll always remember a young Bombers fan chanting 'Ooh Ahh Mark Le Cras' outside the stadium, much to the chagrin of his dad. The Bombers fans were not fans of Matty Knights at all, I'll tell you that.
Sorry mate, Mum comes first! :) loved this video, in times like these for West coast and supporters like us, you're spot on about taking a bit of time to look back in those memories that remind us what it's all about. Let's go Eagles! 💙

My highlights are watching the 06 GF in Cooktown surrounded by Sydney yachtie's. Side note travelled up there from Cairns in an RX7 and the nephew won the meat tray. Listening to Roy and HG call the 92 GF in a house in Carine then going clubbing in Perth. Watching West Coast destroy Port at Subiaco. Watching 94 and 05 GF in Hedland. Attending the 15 GF, the result sucked but the spectacle was awesome. Watching the 18 Premiership in Hervey Bay. Watching all games Free to air. Plus the 11 you mentioned.
I think the Richmond game in 2021 is my favorite game of all time that I have attended. I was living overseas for all the flags - 1992, 1994, 2006 and 2018. The lowest point was the 1991 Grand Final which I did attend. Another great memory of mine was Eagles v St Kilda in 1990 at the WACA where we came back from 7-8 goals down to win. Troy Ugle had one of the weirdest games ever having 4 goals kicked on him in the backline in the first quarter before Malthouse switched him forward to kick 6 goals and win the game. I also marked a goal from Sumich in the last quarter behind the goal at the Trinity School end. Insane.
How could anyone forget biting their nails as they kept looking down at the ladder as it kept flipping between us and Melbourne for 8th. As for 2018, I still remember the last two minutes, standing as I watched it on a tiny phone screen, feeling utterly tense... I think I was just nervously holding onto my finances beard for luck and hope... just praying we got over the line. It was incredible.
Great memories. Surprised nothing from 15 made the list. Was a phonemonal year, given we didn'teven make the finals the year before and then lost both our key defenders to injury early in the year. The innovation of the weagles web, JK winning the Coleman, and the rise of Gov were amazing. Specifically beating Hawks in the 15 qualifying after Priddis was a late withdrawal was a real highlight. Speaking of Priddis, his brownlow was so unexpected and exciting. Loved it.
The 2011 win against the Bulldogs was bizarre. Score was 9.13 to 7.3 before Josh Kennedy kicked his 7th goal 12 minutes into the third. We had 10 goals, JK had 7 of them. 73-45 with a quarter and a half to go the game was hardly over as a contest and from then on we kicked 16.6 to 1.1 and JK only kicked 3 of them.

My 11 year old daughter told me no we will come back and win this... I responded how much do you want to bet... Her terms were i had to give up Alcohol for a month! I was both happy and sad at the end of that GF. But the fact that my daughter had belief when i didnt will always be special to me ❤ (and she wont let me forget it to this day!)
Sadly, the only finals game I've had the privilege to attend was the 2013 prelim where the Dockers booked a ticket to the Grandfinal. It was a fantastic moment to see to be honest, but yeah... would have been better had it been my Eagles.
Been to so many amazing games I’d say the best one was Ben cousins comeback game 42000 at Subiaco what a noise, or sheedys last game as coach of the bombs that was mental aswell
That 06 game beating the cats and the whole comeback was amazing. Hunter was done dirty by mooney. Glad there was retribution served in the boxing bout between him and bell chambers recently. Rightly or wrongly, those players in 06 must have been on something. They just came back and cooked the cats. Was unbelievable. So good

Nic nat kicking that goal literally on the siren against GWS in 2016 always gives me chills. Really underrated game too.

Cant remember the year but the Derby where Ballantyne thought he had kicked the winner but it fell short. That always brings a smile to my face.
