“Down the Field” (All versions)

Down the field was originally written at Yale in 1904 by undergrad Stanleigh P. Friedman.
Since then, it has been adopted by Tennessee and Nevada as their program’s official fight songs.Oregon has also borrowed it but only as a secondary fight song.

Of course, it takes a back seat to "Rocky Top" at Tennessee, and Yale has so many songs that it doesn't get much prominence there. I now think of it as Nevada's song.
