I love you so much Adam. I'm still in the weeds of getting my business online, but on a super long list of people who have helped me so far, you on at the top. I can't thank you enough.
Elementor template, PLEASE! Adam, you're so clever, can you do that? Challenge! My dashboard template is coming out all weird... What do I put for Display Conditions???
Thanks Adam for this great tutorial, and thanks to John. I have a question: I would like to build a dashboard where my client can add/edit/delete products, without giving them access to other stuff... what is the best way to do it?
Great video John and Adam. I created my template with Elementor and it looks great when I view it, but when I open the dashboard I don't see the custom styles (colors, layout). How do I get WLCMS to pull in those css styles?
I found that you need to create an actual page, not a template. Under Template Type, choose page not Elementor. Just use dynamic visibility to hide the content.
Hi friend, I can set a custom dashboard for a wordpress plugin for my users or suscribers? I meaning a dashboard where each user can use individually a wp plugin?
After saving the settings on white label, it doesn’t effect the change, despite following your steps, could this be a problem of the page builder I’m using (WPBakery), or what could be the problem?
I have not tried it but if I did I would create a saved Divi template and then insert that template to White Label CMS as a shortcode, as it looks like you can do that with Divi. I’m just not 100% if it would load correctly. Worth a try!
After testing it, I don't see an option to add new users with a shop manager role though all the options under the users in menus in White Label CMS is switched on. How to solve it?
Hi i am building this with Elementor and so far it is going well the only question I have is what was the code to autoflil the Website for the Contact form as i would like to add that to mine
If you are utilizing Gravity forms you can pre-fill a field with a specific assigned value. I assign the Current URL to that value so it would put in the domain. This is not a feature of elementor or beaver builder forms, I believe, so you will need a 3rd party form plugin to accomplish that.
I am looking for a video where Adam shows how to "restart" wordpress.. Kind of like a clean slate, to quickly use a developed version to restart a new version from scratch. I am sure I have seen a video like that. Anyone know which video I refer to, or which plugin to be used for this? Please let me know :)
These are the only options. You could, in theory as I haven't tested this, save a row/template in your builder and convert that to a shortcode which you then embed into the html area. I know Divi allows this, not sure about others. Just not sure 100% if it would actually load in.
🧨 Important Information for Elementor Users: I've tested it with elementor and wondered why I had only the wordpress styles and not the elementor styles of my template on the dashboard. It doesn't work if you use the global styles (global fonts, global colors etc.) You must use individual settings.
This is the exact way I do it for those as well. If they want details on their store they can just go to the new "Analytics" tab that woocommerce has built out, which is what I recommend to the client.
QUESTION: is there anyway to make a main website that will change every homepage of every other website except one element? Scenario example: Think of DIRECTV with installation contractors. All the contractors represent DIRECTV but each contractor have their own website url with a drop-down box to get a free e-book by entering in there name an email and choose “State & County” If the contractor doesn’t service that area. I want them to be able to be redirected to the contractor that does service that area and be able to run a email sequence. My goal: I’m trying to build a network of contractors all over United States that will have their own unique URL but if they don’t service that area no matter which URL they use in the network. The auto email campaign will trigger for the appropriate contractor of that area. I’ve seen marketing companies do these type of things in their back office but I’m not sure they use wordpress and I wanna be able to achieve something similar and want to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks
@@WPCrafter Hi there I downloaded this and went to import it and I get this error? Failed to import “ White Label Dashboard ”: Invalid post type fl-builder-template any idea on this?
@@iamjohnwhite i just tried it and you cant specify the settings across the child sites. It would be great if you could have a word with the developers to make it multisite compatible :)
Really great video. Very good information. A bit of a question though. You have made it clear that items for specific user roles can be removed. It there a way to add your own navigation links to the left hand menu in the WordPress Dashboard? Just thinking out loud here, it sure would be great if, in the same way that "child" themes protect us from from loosing the things we may have added in the functions.ini and so on when a theme updates, it sure would be a powerful things is WordPress, itself, had a separate "child-like" set of files that could be called on so that we could do things like add our own links to the WordPress back-end and allowing those modifications and additions to "survive" a WordPress update. If anyone knows of such a solution, please let me know. I offer my eternal thanks in advance to any and all that might enlighten me to such a solution. Again, really fantastic video! Sincerely and without hesitation, Max
This is definitely do-able, just not with White Label CMS at this time and honestly I don't see them adding this in the future. You can create custom admin sidebar nav links with some custom php added into the functionsphp file on the theme you utilize. I found 2 different ways of going about it on a quick google search. There is also a few plugins that allow this as well if you aren't comfortable coding it in!
This is great. Thanks for helping me level up my client experience. I noticed there are still 3 sections that say "drag boxes here" even after hiding all dashboard items and removing screen options. Any ideas?
@@ericaramirez3047 could you elaborate a little about the location of the setting and custom style options. Is it something we do in global settings or on the settings of the page we create for the dashboard. Thanks for the Help.
Did you know a plugin for identity login or create form? For the user upload a photo ID or selfie for create at account. This is for more security for fraud payments.
I don't believe so. If I was going to try it I would likely save a divi template and then just embed a shortcode into the custom section and see if that works. I haven't personally tried that though as I don't use Divi, but in theory it might be a work around!
It takes time! I've been doing web for almost 10 years so it was a build up to start getting to those price points and having the quality and confidence to sell that.
It's not an overnight thing, that's for sure. You have to feel confident in your skills first and have a couple of good examples for a client to look at. Then don't even blink an eye when asking for the higher bucks. The ones that want to nickel and dime you or won't go above $500 just direct them to a DIY place like Wix. Don't waste your time with the small potatoes. They usually are the ones that will suck up your time the most! Good luck! 🙏
