This was so helpful, thank you!! My mom keeps bees and after we processed the honey I wanted to figure out how to use the cappings for candles, this was by far the best video I've seen on the topic. Thanks!

If you put it in a much bigger pot of water with your filter bag held to the bottom with some weights, you can leave the bag in the water while it all cools and the wax sets, and you won't lose any of the wax that is clinging to the bag and its contents.

Love your channel! You have such wonderful videos. Once it's frozen (to kill moths), can you bring it back to room temp and store at room temp? Or should they stay in the freezer? Thank you!

Great video. I have been wanting to get my wax a little cleaner. I will be processing down 10 buckets of wax this winter.

Great Video! You've explained it perfectly for a beginner like me!
I know you mentioned not usig additional scents in your candles, but with your expertise.. what percentage of Fragrance oil would you recommend to add to beeswax and can you recommend how long you would cure for if fragrane oil was added please?.

I’ve only used a fragrance once, and my daughter immediately complained of her eyes burning when we lit it. since then, I’ve only made 100% beeswax candles. I appreciate you watching. 🙂
