This is the Baywatch and Knight Rider star's very first metal performance! The collaboration started in 2018 and the ultimate goal was to create a metal project with the most-watched man on TV, showing the world his heavy side. David recorded the track with CueStack in 2019 in Vienna where they also shot this epic music video together.
Another very well know special guest on the 'Through the Night' EP is Caleb Shomo, the singer and mastermind of the band 'Beartooth' who produced a retro synth-wave remix of the song.

The Hoff's voice surprisingly fits in pretty perfectly to this 80's power metal style. I could enjoy a full album of this.

When I saw the title, I thought David Hasselhoff was gonna sound cheesy in this. This definitely wasn't what I was expecting. Unbelievably, this sounds great. After listening to this, Hoffmetal needs to be a thing.
I second that. I thought i was gonna hate it too, but i was shocked. :) He def fits this style of music. For those of who grew up watching Knight Rider, this should have been a song back then in that show. lol

When I helped fund this project through Kickstarter, I had no idea what the song would be about. I was just happy I helped a dream project come to life. Then I listen to the song, and I feel the lyrics resonate with me as I'm going through depression, and listening to this song helps. Thank you to everyone involved for creating this.

Unfortunatelly Hasselhoff tends to drop good projects. Another example was True Survivor done with Mitch Murder, or the fact that he didn't do more dramas for theatre after Jekyll & Hyde. Now he's like in 20% of his vocal capactiy, comparing to skills he trained for Jekyll and Hyde around 2000.
I cannot stop listening to this! Like I listened to this like 50 times already. Driving people in my house mad! There is no turning off the HOFF!

@@SparrowNoblePoland back in the day we read that there were more tracks planned with the team of Mitch Murder - apparently never happened. With Kung Fury 2 in postproduction and knowing Hasselhoff recorded the theme song, here is hoping for more to come on the synthwave end.

Thank you, CueStack. I found this video thanks to a video that Bernth posted about his guitar journey. It had me crying, especially at the end when he said "Never give up on your dreams. I believe in you." This song was mentioned so of course I had to hear the Hoff singing. Didn't think the lyrics would hit me like that. I'm trying to grow spiritually right now and this song was another example of Gods love embracing me. It's been happening a lot since I've been forgiving and letting go of fear and anger. Thank you for this song. Two videos later I haven't searched up the band I was looking for, but it's what I needed.
