As a Porto resident, my favourite view of the city is from the south bank of the river, in Vila Nova de Gaia, in Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar. If you are ever around, try to visit it, speacially during sunset, or even in the night, as the city lights are amazingly beautiful. And Porto in the rain is breath taking. Sorry for geeking out, but there's no city I love more
I honestly love the quality of your videos. Such a fabulous mix of sightseeing, food and the beautiful shots of the locals…. You show such respect for the people and the places. Hope your luggage gets returned soon
I love that you include the people you’ve met in the city, I haven’t seen that come before and it was really refreshing. This vlog was definitely one of my favorite Portugal vlogs I’ve seen on TH-cam! Super excited to see the city soon ❤
I love how you focus on people on the street. It makes me feel comfortable that when I visit I won’t be the only one who looks like me ☺️ everyone seems so friendly, I can’t wait to go! Thank you for your video!
Your channel is why I love TH-cam videos. You showed me 4 new places in Porto/ Gaia to visit and I have been there about 6 times. Yay for delicious port wine and food ❤️🇵🇹🧳
Portugal is a beautiful country with unique culture, stunning architecture, vibrant colours, delicious food, warm weather, laid-back and relaxed lifestyle, sweet and sexy language, and warm and hospitable people.♥️🇵🇹
172K!!! Congrats, guys! Your channel is starting to get the recognition it deserves! Clicked on this one really fast... Portugal, and particularly Porto, is high on my list!
Hi, the video around the city is really good, and capturing the essence of the people who are working or just walking around is really good. Muitas felicidades.
what a fantastic intrduction to porto, love the music from the street singers in the back ground, your vid is helping me pick where in portugal I want to visit
Greetings from WA! I love this episode so much! Your videos of Taiwan and Beijing caught my eye, and since then I cannot get enough of your videos! Watching you two's travel experience has been a soothing moment of my day! Keep doing the great work, Sammy and Tommy!
Love the style of your videos ....how you capture the people you meet along the way is so awesome! Will be taking 4th trip to Portugal this fall but 1st to Porto. Can't wait!
Nice video! I’ve been there a few times. I’m heading there this Friday with my 14 year old daughter to walk from Porto, up the coast to Santiago de Compostela; on the Coastal Portuguese Camino.
Beautiful video, please make sure check your facts. Just came from Portugal and found few mistakes in your facts. Train station is remarkable because it is the only place that has colorful tiles and with traditional white and blue. the bridge you were showing is not designed by Eifel, but his student, the bridge he designed is another one away from center because at the time he build it he was not famous and did not have permission to build in that prime spot, but his student had opportunity just because of his teacher's fame at the time of his design.
Newly subscribed! What an immersive VLOG- as much local music tour as it was visual. The shots of people along with your drone shots, culinary samplings and especially mixing live music into the experience really add to the emotional landscape!
LOVE that you appreciate the live music :) that was definitely the highlight for us editing this one, so fun! Porto had such a great vibe with so many incredible musicians.
Do you ever use a teleprompter? Your discussions are always so smooth, especially when sharing facts and information about historic and interesting places. We still struggle with storing that information in our heads and not blanking when we turn on the camera!
Thank you for visiting and loving my beautiful country! Appart from the awkward pronounciation of portuguese words, there's a fact you got wrong... Luis I bridge was not designed by Gustave Eiffel... That bridge was designed by Théophile Seyrig that worked with Eiffel previously. The bridge that was designed by Gustave Eiffel at Porto is Ponte D. Maria Pia.
Ok. You broke me. I subscribed. Why? You are authentic, respectful, kind in conversation and, not only emerse into the culture, but feature locals on the street in your coverage.
Perfect timing from my favourite travel couple to help with my research before I go to Porto in August. I’m also going to Lisbon and Budapest so hopefully you go there (Lisbon) and have been there (Budapest) haha
You're welcome to explore more of China the next time you visit. Beyond Beijing, there are many fascinating places across the country that are well worth your time to discover…..❤
You show a black guy with a young blond woman at 0:14 and a different such pair at 21:35. You should instead show a white guy with a black woman to balance this out.
