He was never a racist. I don't know how many times I have to explain to people that they are not the center of the universe and times were different in the past. Nobody, including Seuss had racist intent when he made yellow people yellow. Nor did he when he made white people white or black people black. Everybody needs to get over themselves and jump down off the high horse because I guarantee if you looked into any of these people screaming racism, you'd find that they are the most racist people of all. Not talking about you, speaking generally. All I'm gonna say.

Lolz Yeah. In reality tho there never should be a statute of limitations on things like that. Rape even statutory, grooming and stuff all is almost as horrible as murder. Somtimes it takes years to fully admit to yourself much less others that you were raped and/or taken advantage of in that way so if you have evidence even if it was 60 years ago you should absolutely be able to go after the person in criminal court cases along with others too. As of right now most places have the limitations still on everything. It's understandable that you can't be charged with some crimes if it was done a very long time ago and they have not committed similar crimes more recently because they possibly have changed but why does it matter? If you commit a crime you are supposed to get jail time... even if you have changed your entire life and gotten better you should serve time maybe not as many or whatever else but somthing expesally when it's crimes that harmed others on a personal lvl like rape, grooming. Abuse mental and physical, ect. If it was a petty theft then I fully understand as long as they haven't continued to do so it should not mess everything up for somone who maybe stole something small from Walmart a few times many many years ago. But taking advantage of underage boys? This effects the child for te rest of there lives and most likely caused them to need more mental health care which is extremely difficult to get properly and expensive for proper care. The person who did that to them should have to pay for all that plus be in jail even if they are not caught and didn't have enough evidence for many many years.

Victor Fleming died on January 6, 1949 - The Story of the Trapp Family Singers, the book upon The Sound of Music is based, was published later in 1949. The musical, The Sound of Music, was written in 1959. I think you meant to say Victor Fleming was know for directing both The Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind in 1939. Fleming left his directorial duties for ...Oz after filming the technicolor sequences to direct ...Wind. King Vidor was the director for the black and white Kansas sequences.

At the point in the movie, when Farris bueller and Company are in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, they actually crashed the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade irl. The actors and crew were accidentally waved into the parade without gaining permission to do so, and it turned out to save them a bit of money and gave them their scene and gimmick for the movie. Well, not twice as fast... but faster, agreed. However, it's only the cartoon that stipulated that the cartoon bird had to stay on the roads. Real road runners can fly. I watch them regularly, in my back yard in Arizona! I put in a multi level water fountain specifically for the birds so they always have fresh water; plus, with a 360 view, they can avoid any cats or coyotes from catching them! Road runners can commonly be found running along at 25mph. I don't know what their top speed is, but I do remember that a coyote is faster (on foot, anyway). You can see them running alongside of cars and motorcycles,s on other videos right here on youtube.

The original versions of almost all the well known fairy tales were far darker than the more modern stories. One of the worst imho was sleeping beauty. I'll just say she is not awoken by a kiss but by one of the twins that were conceived and birthed while she was sleeping.
    6:52
Theodore Geisel (Dr. Seuss) was a horrible person. But i base that on the fact that he cheated on his fist wife, who was chronically and possibly terminally ill, with her best friend who he then married after the first wife committed sʊicide due to depression which was at least partially caused by his having an affair when she needed him most. On top of that, when they got married, his second wife sent her kids away because they didn't want them.
    12:44
Judith Barsi also voiced Anne-Marie in "All Dog Go To Heaven" and she never should have died since the authorities had been contacted about her father's violent behavior multiple times before that. Which for some reason still seems to happen in cases like that.

Granted that Theodore Seuss Geisel made a lot of what we would now consider racist comics about the Japanese, but you have to remember that he did this during WWII when Japan was our enemy and everyone was making anti-Japanese propaganda. During that time he was a political cartoonist for a while and yes, he created a lot of anti-Japanese comics. But consider that along with the political cartoons of more recent years depicting everyone from Bin Laden to the Unabomber as outrageous caricatures. It's what political cartoonists do. That being said, Geisel went from there to creating training cartoons for the US Army featuring a character named Snafu (and we all know what that is an acronym for). From what I've seen of them, some of them were pretty racy and used a lot of foul language. But you have to remember that these were made for use by the Army only and were actually classified at the time because they depicted some top-secret stuff. They have since been declassified and can be found on the internet these days. Not sure where.

Contemporaries of his at the time described the relationship as unsettling and inappropriate and that there needed to be an investigation. When Bobby hit puberty, one day Walt had his secretary fire him. This started the downward spiral. He is still buried in a potter's field.
