No listen, the fact they feature some black Colombians in this movie makes me happy. It's teaching kids (and ignorant grown ups) that so many cultures are extremely diverse (in this case, when it comes to racial identity)
I mean, why wouldn't they.
This isn’t the only diverse Disney movie
And the ignorant adults would come and say there are no black latinos (and even white latinos)
I love that the movie doesn't make a great deal of it. I mean, there are other movies that don't, but a lot of them are like "see how we don't make a great deal of it??? see how progressive we are??" while this one is just - yeah, people of all kinds of skin colors exist in the area and it's as normal as sky being blue and above your head.
@@awkwardfreakinperson7936 duhhh not what they said but this one featured so many in one community
I love the racial inclusivity of the movie. It plays in colombia and it shows us that the brown, the black and the white are all latinos and colombian. Love this movie
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I cannot tell you how satisfying it is for us Latinos who are from a culture this diverse; the amount of times that I had to explain that we latinos aren't just brown and we come in all colors of a rainbow...it's STILL funny to me whenever I see a lot of Americans get thrown off by white and/or black latinos who speak Spanish fluently. Just a joyful experience watching people become more educated thanks to Encanto.
It’s a good movie.
It tackles issues of toxic family values and pressure.
him getting excited about felix is why representation matters ♥♥♥
The amount of people that don’t understand that is crazy!!!
Felix is the best character idc what anyone say💀💀
@@Amicy The ones that don't understand are the ones that never had to fight for representation in the first place
@@themightierpencil say it louder for the people in the back 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤜🏾

2:41 Dolores’s eyes looking like Kermit the frog had me howling 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Also the female character you are asking about at 3:33 is Dolores, and her voice actress is Adassa who is also known as the “Princess of Reggaeton”.
Her eyes were creepy
frl same cuz i was like:SO NOBODY SAW HOW HE PAUSED ON THE EYES?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looking for this com, ty. 😂😂
And the way Mirabel is looking at her too XD
Her eyes look very goatish and ghoulish! Like she is possessed by the ghost of Billie Eilish.
(Dude, she ain't dead.)
(Well said... 😑)
The movie is delightful, the songs are incredible and the characters are just wonderful. You'll love the experience!
One of the most amazing movies I've seen in ages.
I highly recommend either watching the movie first, or watching the videos in order. The first song really explains the general concept.
Since you liked we don’t talk about Bruno, check out surface pressure, family madrigal, and what else can I do from encanto. I would save the other songs for when you watch the movie because they have spoilers.
we definitely will check em out
What else can I do at the end of the song can be a spoiler too.
My daughter was sick one day with flu so we all sat with her and watched this movie. It was the first time the three adults had watched it all the way through instead pieces. By the end of it she looked behind her and saw all three of us crying and she didn't understand. I hope she never has to. This movie and the music are just a dang masterpiece.
Just fyi guys, the characters are Colombian. So they are Latinos, not Spanish. Great reaction! Loved it! Y’all should watch the movie❤️
It is true that the film takes place in Colombia, the characters are Latino and they are so precisely because of their Spanish heritage.
@@zuis1000 that’s not the point
@@existenceisafarce._.172 If this is not the case, it is just that it is not the first time that I detect this confusion where it is believed that Spaniards are not Latinos, forgetting that there are Latin-Europeans and Latin-Americans, in fact some classify Filipinos as Latin-Asian (at least to those who still speak Spanish) and as Latino-Africans to the peoples of that continent who speak one of the Latin languages also called Romance.
@@zuis1000 It’s Afro-Latinos, that’s what it is. But do Filipinos classify THEMSELVES as Latin-Asian. Plus, the whole idea of being Latinx is by being from Latin America. So Brazilians are Latinos, Jamaicans are also Latinos. Just because the Romance languages are derived from Latin doesn’t make them Latinos. Spanish people are Hispanic, being Hispanic means that you’re from a Spanish speaking country, so Brazilians are not Hispanic. Source: I’m Hispanic/Latina, I’ve also had extensive conversations about this with my entire Hispanic/latino family, I also talked about this with my geography teacher.
@@existenceisafarce._.172 I don't know what you're talking about with your geography teacher but America, the continent is divided into North, Central and South America, the Latin term America is more culture. Also, from now on I tell you that the terms that you are using Afro-Latinos and Latinix are not very popular around here we consider them inventions from the US Here we refer more to Afro-descendants and Latinos, no X. Professor, but historically the peoples who speak a language derived from Latin have been considered as Latinos. There are other terms to refer to us that we also use as Hispanic-Americans that would only include those of us who were Spanish colonies or also Ibero-Americans in which the Brazilians would also enter and in reference to them they used to use a term Luso-Brazilians. (Ibero refers to the Iberian Peninsula and Luso refers to the ancient Lusitanian people inhabiting what is now Portugal.)
Dolores' face at 2:41 absolutely kills me. HAHA!
Well I guess you guys just have to watch the movie to find out who is Bruno
Yes we will 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🔥🔥
It’s about Colombia, we do have blacks and I’m one of them…. Que viva Colombia
Exacto, en Latinoamérica hay gente negra, yo también soy negra, pero no soy de Colombia, soy de República Dominicana.
I think the brothers were more surprised that a Disney movie actually acknowledged that Afro-Latinos exist, we know there are Afro-Latinos all over Latin America, but they aren't always well represented.
@@themightierpencil not Afro Latinos, just Latinos because Afro Latino never existed, that something Americans made up to separate the Latin American community
Great reaction!!! This movie is based on my beloved Colombia and it shows our diversity and culture. Here you can find people with very different skin colors being part of the same family (just like the Madrigal family in the movie). It's very common here (and also in many other parts of Latin America).
I hope you enjoy the movie!
And it would be great to see you react to the other songs!
Exactly! Diversity in a Colombian family is huge. Except I did not see my Asians represented in this movie. I am Colombian and my family has a lot of Asian roots and relatives!
Same in Brazil. Also! Hello, Neighbor! 😂
Not the pause on Dolores 😂😂😂😂😭
Time stamp hahah
Around 2:40 😂😂
I WAS SCREAMINGGG
I love how they have multiple nationalities represented in one place, living peacefully and cohesively together, shut off from the rest of the world in Encanto.
Its not just Colombia its all south America...have multiple nationalities
Huh? Isn't just Colombia? What other nationality is there?
I really wish people didn't constantly beg for reactors to react to THIS song first, because you miss the background details by jumping into it without seeing the first song (Family Madrigal) beforehand, since that one gives a lot of exposition and explains the family dynamics and the powers.
Every single song I this movie is fire. I downloaded the whole soundtrack.
This is what comes from giving art to artists, especially artists who intrinsically know and appreciate what they are portraying.
1:40 this movie is set in Columbia and speaking as a Hispanic person (Cuban/Puerto Rican BTW) we come in every color of the rainbow, from the whitest white to the blackest black
Great reaction! I live in the Dominican Republic, and 'varied' doesn't even *begin* to describe my neighborhood. The local kids went crazy when they saw this, they loved seeing themselves represented for once. I found you through the Geoff Castellucci 'Monster Mash' reaction, and thought this reaction might have been Voiceplay's (Geoff's the bass in that group) cover of the Bruno song. You might enjoy that as well. One brother in the Madrigal family is a shape changer, so you see him become Bruno, his sister, and the boyfriend when he sings about them.
You guys really do post every day, sometimes even twice a day, you guys are so cool
Yes indeed 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😁😁
@@Amicy 💙💙💙
my daughter and me love this movie, favorite song is We don't talk about Bruno, and then Surface Pressure, Camilo is one of my favorites along with his voice with the curl hair. her gift was the whole house. this movie was voted number 1 animated movie, also if you see the umbrellas in the We don't talk about Bruno it's the colombian flag
I love any animated movies about different cultures. I’m 26 years old and will literally go to the movies by myself just to watch the movies. Yes, half the time I’m surrounded by kids and their parents but I’m still gonna go lol
My dude, I'm 23 and love going to animated movies (hyped for light-years here 😊)
I watched Encanto after I saw this song on youtube. It was crazy! I was listening it on repeat for like a weak non stop.
So I guess I'm not the only person who loves this song?
I LOVE THIS REACTION!! yall are genuinely so cool to watch :D
We appreciate you! All parts are available for free
I’m happy they’re happy they feel represented! Good job guys keep it up
Gentlemen, check out some of the other songs first! I recommend “The Family Madrigal” to figure out the relationships, and then “Surface Pressure” because you will really really love Luisa! Great reaction, so glad about the representation! Thanks!
An amazing movie with amazing music!! I cried my eyes out at the end 🤣😭
They paused it in the worst part and what's funny is that that's a real thumbnail 2:42
even after like about a year or so it still gives me chills
This song is SO GOOD! THE MOVIE IS AMAZING!! I love seeing people reacting to Encanto songs
Did you know that when in a song the voices of several people singing different parts of the lyrics at the same time, it is called Madrigal... which, coincidentally, is the family last name in the film
A tiny thing that I always find amusing but I don't see people mentioning very often is that when Isabella walks between the table and camera at the end the vision jumps from being not solved at all to being nearly solved in a fraction of a second. A bit of visual trickery to have that puzzle be solved in the span of just that part of the song :)
2:43 funny pause = Dolores something is wrong with your eyes haha
My daughter is obsessed with this movie and this song. Enjoy the movie 😁
2:42 they paused the video right in the Dolores' eyes meme 😂
This whole movie is full of bangers
This is a touch of a genius Lin Manuel Miranda: Hamilton, wrote all the songs from Encanto, welcome to Colombia and all our skin ant rhythms colors.
That song was stuck In my head for about a month now
And to think that the character of Bruno was actually supposed to be named Oscar but Lin of course wanted to make it sound better with the “Bruno no no no” so he changed it 💚💚
Hahah instantly started singing the Bruno no no no
It makes me so happy to see the diversity and one more thing, a disney protagonist with glasses? 😭I’ve never felt so representated by any other disney character. This movie just makes me happy!
2:42 that paused screen is a joke in the Encanto community
did you guys notice the pain in Isabela's voice and her eyes when she said i'm fine?
Came here for this. Just found out you have reactions to stray kids. See you in a bit of time. Love you guys I’ll check out your Stray kid’s reactions now
Loved your reaction! I think I have a new favorite channel now
I hope you guys don’t mind me saying this but I think I found my newest favorite reaction to “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” because this was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hiiiiii this means the world! Thank you for making our day!
@@Amicy No problem, sweethearts trust me it’s so hard to get it out of your head due to how catchy it is.
Ey. Ey. Movie reaction? 😬😬😬 you’re gonna love the rest of the songs!
Can’t wait to see it
Greetings from Guatemala!!
Fun Fact: The character of Bruno was originally named Oscar but LMM asked for the name change specifically so he could get the "We don't talk about Bruno-no-no-no" in this song.
Bruh please watch this. I would love your reaction because all the songs are FIRE. Believe it
Can’t wait to watch it
Trust me its on the list~~~
@@Amicy yay I’m excited!
@@Amicy Aah I can't wait to see your reactions to the songs, specifically Surface Pressure tho, it's one of my faves!!
Bro you guy's are funny I enjoy so much your reaction
Not España, Colombia😭🤣
This song is so good it plays on ABQ's radio stations!
Another video of my happiness! I really love those reaction vids yeah 👏💖💖
I'd really enjoy watching the two of you react to the whole movie.
Also shows the full scale of hair types. The first thing that amazed me was the hair in this movie.
But Bruno was in the background 🤣 while Delores was singing and he was into it!!
I have a cousin in Puerto Rico who is dark skinned I'm sure he would really appreciate the representation. I did as a light skinned Puerto Rican myself. I was hyped watching this movie . It's beautiful
Colombians.
I love your reaction, please react to more songs from Encanto such as Family Madrigal, Surface Pressure, What else can I do, Waiting on a miracle, and All of you.
From Colombia to the World Papa, Latino pride. Latinos gang 💛💙❤
Let’s freaking gooo!!!
Low key Bruno is the dude your family doesn't want dating your sister 😂
The casual “well that sucks.” 😂
i love the reaction its so funny and made me laugh
Disney really needs to look back at what made them famous Encanto is one of their last big hits
Did y'all notice Bruno in the back dancing when the cousin came in with her bars?
We don't talk about Dolores' face at 2:40
When you watch the movie or rewind this, watch the background on the upper causeway.you will see a figure sneaking past, then later boring their head to to music.when Delores tells her about hearing him.
Something you might be interested in is that the voice of Mirabel (the girl with the glasses) is voiced by Stephanie Beatriz who also plays Rosa Diaz in Brooklyn 99!
If I recall correctly it's a Lin Manuel Miranda production, of course some characters are gonna spit some bars.
Yeah I know all the words to the entire song. Actually, all the songs from Encanto because of my 7 yr old daughter. The movie is great, but the songs are awesome. Probably why they won an Oscar.
Bruno is the uncle to all the madrigal kids, the son of Abuela and the younger brother to julieta and papa they are triplets he is considered bad luck in his hometown because of his gift to see the future because its not always good he also has anxiety and usually quite shy but he loves his family dearly
the pause at 2:40 dude ! the derp face !
Such an amazing yet sad song
...how the hell does your family just stop talking about you...that's f***d up. Definitely watch this movie.
We have.never.denied our black latinos, in fact.many of our famous.singers.are.black,specially salsa, and merengue singers since.those are.rythms that have roots from african music with other rythms. Also many of latin soccer or football players are black, specially from Brazil.
Can you please react to the songs before you watch the movie? Or at least the family Madrigal?
Definitely bout to watch the movie after this song and can’t wait to hear all the songs
Yes, the second girl that sings is an urban reggaeton singer name Adassa
Lol 2:44 when u paused, look at Dolores’ face (her eyes) 😂
Y’all gotta do surface pressure! Lin Manuel is a true genius
Do you know when they are singing abot each other while putting the plates?
It's a feature of the music style called Madrigal. Madrigal is also the family's name.
everyone around me recommended me this and i watched it then with my family. we were like wtf is that and then i said " maybe we don't like it because we have broken family and we can't heal it bahah,,
Chadwick poster in back got u a Subscribe
Ayyyye the freaking goat!
They stoped in the best part 2:41 🤣🤣🤣🤣
In Colombia you can find people of many races and mixes hahaha, but maybe in Caribbean and Pacific theres a big amount of black people, The movie is in "Cocora Valley" a place, relativily, near to the pacific coast. Greetings from Colombia
Not me listening to this with the same headphones as the dude on the right 😂
2:40 😂 Dolores
In South America is super normal to have mix skin color family. I’m white but my brothers and sister are light brown skin color, I have cousins, uncles, aunts brown and black skin color. It’s just beautiful to grown up in a culture where that is not a social problem 😍
Please watch the movie and do a reaction! The inclusion depicted in the film is accurate and a breath of fresh air. One of the sisters is also an extremely rare representation and was magical to see for me personally!
Lin Manuel Miranda is a genius! Loved your reaction. If you want to move react to Daddy Yankee “Rompe” remix with Lloyd banks and Young Buck and “Rumbaton” by Daddy Yankee! Good vibes from New Jersey!❤
meaningful movie on screen the song is awesome
2:40 Can we talk about that freeze-frame
I would love to see the movie with you guys, youre so funny 💜
They probably watched it immediately afterwards
2:38 NOOOO STOPP AHHAHAHAH DOLORES
2:40 now, i can add this to my list of cursed images when you pause
LIN MANUEL MIRANDA IS THE GOAT FOR WRITING THIS!!
Stunning movie with amazing storyline. I was blown away by the representation, right down to multiple hair textures. Hi t explores generational trauma so have the tissues ready. The songs are by Lin-Manuel Miranda who wrote In the Heights and Hamilton.
React to encanto! Latin family! It is great to feel represented
Sak pa sé? Map boulé!
Got some Haitian representation here. Nice😎
Ayeee koman ou ye jodia ? @Anaika Nou apresye ou anpil
