Pretty good test , except if its good steel and good quality (Which I've personally had excellent experience with cold steel ) , soft metals like aluminum or tin shouldn't damage the edge too bad , now , the steel can might roll or flatten it
Lil Mao I've had one of their tanto machetes for 3 years now and I've only sharpened it twice , one due to rust , the other was it being a bit subpar for me , and I gave a friend of mine their kukri machete , both are very good short machetes for under 25 dollars on Amazon
ap0lmc then I would recommend that over the cold steel ones the condor dadao is a tank, it would take some serious force to break it. where as the hilt on my cold steel dadao the more expensive one is already loose off of a few swings
First off you nincompoops you need to do your chopping on a solid surface like a little stump that thing that you constructed there it just bounces so everything that you try to chop it’s just bouncing it needs to be solid just saying smarten up buttercup

quality wise its built alot stronger, however it is kind of dull, it you sharpen it it is definitely worth the price. Great Weapon and tool
