    Hello bold bakers! Been baking for 4 days now, using Ms.Gemma's puff pastry, on my first day, i baked Cheesy tuna puff, 2nd day was Salami day of course a lot of cheese, 3rd day was PIZZA! and 4th day was CHILI CON CARNE and it turn soooooo good! My family loved it so much... All i can say is thank you ms. Gemma for sharing your wonderful ideas! More power and will probably wait for more idea..       It does! So much more appealing than sweet pop tarts - I never liked them but used to try to eat them once or twice as a kid because I liked the idea of them

    To make the bottom less raw and soft cook the bottom square first and then add the filling and the top of the pastry

    These are genius! I love puff pastry but I couldn’t find an easy enough recipe to make it myself. I made some pizza pockets for my kids using this recipe and they absolutely loved it! Thank you!

    Little suggestion for the pizza pop tart: try mixing the cheese, pepperoni and sauce with a tiny bit of milk/cream cheese before filling the pastry!

      That's what I thought, that when Gemma cut them open the pastry didn't look cooked all the way through. I also couldn't help but think that if Gemma presented those on Great British Bake Off that Paul Hollywood would have said that the pastry wasn't done enough and Mary Berry would have likely said that the pop tarts had soggy bottoms.

    Is it me or the pastries look undercooked? Like raw in the middle and just crispy on the outside? :/

      On the bottom they are undone, especially the ham and cheddar one, the cheese wasn't really melted. Maybe roll out the bottom pieces thinner, and top pieces bigger in surface area.?

    BBQ chicken or pork would also make a great pop-tart, just make sure it's not too saucy because it will run out of the crust!

      They should be fine to eat (the bottom puff pastry never cooks quite like the top layer). But if you're worried you can flip them over and baking for a few more minutes :]

      Yusra Sajid I fried mine instead of baking and I kept the temp low and cooked it long and slow. It turned out golden brown on the outside and cooked inside even with a thicker dough. So I guess when baking just make the temp lower and cook it longer should work.

      ( it's a tiny store) to buy everything I wanted
      ( pizza and spinach pop tart filling ) so today
      I went to town an I got lucky. They had everything I needed .YAY..... BUT.. I tried to get Mascarpone but they didn't have that 😞 For Your
      (Mushrooms, thyme, mascarpone parcels)😀
      So I made them with cream cheese cream and (Ak. Wild Morel mushrooms) we found.
      It was GREAT My husband loved it too. Ty so much for your HELP ❤️ with your👸 GREAT recipes🤸💃

    All of the pop-tarts, to me, looked under-baked when she cut them in halves, especially the base. Is it just me or they are supposed to look like that?

    Gemma, you are amazing. You are helping me perfecting my cooking and my English. For extra flavour, may I suggest to add some grated Parmigiano Reggiano to the spinach-ricotta filling? This is how we do it in Italy.

    my fam has been making these for years not as pop tart shapes, more like pastie rounds. so easy to grab from freezer. both ham & cheese and ricotta & spinach goes great dipped in sweet chili sauce!!

      Fab frying would work just be gentle so you don't break it open.

    I love your accent, you see my family is from Ireland as well but I live in England and I only get to see them once a year so it's always nice to hear your voice because it reminds me of them.

      This is true of the one I cut, pressure of filming today :) You can roll the pastry a little thinner, or bake a little longer :)

    my aunt put long thin strips of store bought puff pastry at a bottom of a tray and mixed spinach and cream cheese together and pt every thing in layers it really good
