- In this episode of The Ultimate Coin Hunt, we are metal detecting in an area that has seen a lot of foot traffic and activity over the last 60 years. There are tons of old coins and personal belongings hidden underneath the dirt, just waiting to be discovered! As always, I am mostly interested in the coins. I just went through a box of pennies and found 80 wheat pennies. The oldest one was 1910!

17:30 I've found many silver dimes, including Mercury dimes, inside the rejection bins in Coin Star machines. A much simpler and easier way than what you're doing!

I have bought several cheap shovels from Ace hardware and a couple of them broke on me. They don’t do well in semi-frozen ground. I can tell you right now that this shovel will not be breaking on me. It’s not cheap, but it will last forever!

Always dig everything because aluminum singles sounds like a ring signal sometimes and coins could of been dropped in the same hole with the aluminum and other medals

Dependent is what you can get as a photo package from Walmart and the only reason I know that is because I have some when my daughter was little.
