Good christian metal is hard to come by..
"good" being the key word there. there's tons of Christian metal. I wouldn't even call these guys metal. they're melodic hardcore and sometimes metalcore, I guess. but this song is much more "singy" than their earlier stuff. still, I LOVE them. I hope they make new music soon as I've heard they are.

its because people with the views of you and me are very different. We don't care about religion and couldn't care much about what people believe in. When it comes to christians, hardcore atheists or some buddism shit, they take their believes seriously in their point of view. That's why they will tend to argue a lot.

This song literally saved me through suicide. Ik this comment might seem like its I'm wanting attention but fuck. I wouldn't be here without this anthem. I cant ever forget nor this song. I've had a very rough life. And this song always gave me hope through thick and thin somehow. If I can; I would like to meet these band members. I've been homeless and been thrughviolence and abuse most of my life. I'm 23 now and I still listen to this song. It's weird but this song is one of the things he that has kept me pushing through life through all the hate and violence I've been through all my life. This little thing of art gave me more life and hope to where I'm able to post this comment. Now. I'm happy to listen to this once more in still my dark time of life. I cant express my gratitude for this piece of art. I needed this back when I was in I was in middle school and I need this song now. I'm forever grateful

Between Shane Reynolds here and Lacey Sturm (flyleaf)... There must be something about God that fills people with such raw emotion to be able to belt such perfect and pleasing notes. All my favorite melodic vocalists are all Christian singers... Must be something to it.

@@zinnydin2345 so the lead singer left they got some British sounding guy for there 3rd album the first half of that 3rd album was close your eyes then the second half was disappointing. Then the original singer came back and lasted about 4 or 5 months before posting on Facebook or whatever social media site he posted too explaining that the band was in shambles and he sucks to see it that way and end of close your eyes. probably money definitely when someone leaves and tries to come back they dont have control over the money so he was probably trying to fix that and couldnt
