Hands down one of the best EDH channels. Editing is great, just the right balance of gameplay, animations, and banter IMO. Stay the course and I'm sure the channel will blow up.
Imagine hoofing it up with only 3 creatures and still having a monster on board. Wish that I could have raggadragga'd some more but alas, I lacked draw sources in construction.
The only Commander I’ve built from CLB, I also went along the route of building in land animation as a finisher, and liege of the tangle…5 10/10 lands with trample with Raggadraggas buff…and castling the liege gave Raggadragga +7/+7 the previous turn! Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧

At 36:20 the Raggadragga trigger cannot target craterhoof. It is an on cast trigger, so craterhoof is still on the stack when the ability resolves. Fun to watch though, well put together with just the right amount of editing and personality :)

Got to say that HaLuLu joke by Matthew was a banger. You guys are great! Edit: I recognized you sort of had some more editing in these "older" videos compared to some of the newer ones, especially showing the starting hands and like several animations and just general extra stuff. Just wanted to say I think it was really great like this, also the right of unedited scenes which show a bit of your personalities (which is still there in the newer episodes though) - just a tad of extra details but not too much. Really like this old video seeing it now 1 year later!

I decided to go with Lulu//Veteran soldier, using vehicles and other flicker effects. For dragons, I'm trying for straight green with Skanos Dragonheart//Acolyte of Bahamut, and I've already found some very old dragons for the 98. For control, I'm working on an Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward//Candlekeep Sage flicker brew involving the cartouches/trials (Amonkhet), Lightform, and Mistform.

Love your work! Love the decks and excitement and genuine enthusiasm. I wonder if it'd be worth putting the decks on your power scale at the beginning of the episode so we know what kind of deck your playing and how it'll apply?
You guys are always a joy to watch. Hope you don't mind if save all those decklists for later, a lot of the commanders I've been theorycrafting this set. Biggest surprise for me was Lulu. I'll admit I disregarded her before, not quite sure what to make about an LTB +1/+1 untap commander, but Paul's list looks very interesting to play.
I was lucky enough to draft Jon Irenicus. I’ve been working hard to build a good commander deck, but it’s tricky. You have to be careful not to give too much away or else you leave yourself open.
Luluuuuuuuuu!!!! Damn I loved that deck idea. When I got my Baldur's gate cards I actually picked up Raggadraga cuz I am forever Gruul and he's amazing but Paul made an awesome Lulu deck and it got me hyped. Ps damn that dragon commander..... too broken
I just started trying to build a Jon Irenicus deck, was disheartening to see not a single gift stuck for more than one turn cycle, people are so ungrateful 😅 Also I have recently moved to SG from Australia, I might watch more of your content going forward, hoping to start playing some EDH in SG soon :)
My Jon gift deck I have some self-sacrificing gifts, but a bunch of death touch creatures in the early game replaces the pillow-fort effects (no No Mercy or Propaganda for me) or can be given as gifts as soon as Jon comes down theoretically. I figure people won't mind being given them too much since they're just free attackers and I get cards, so yay, win-win! I wasn't willing to put the nightmare in my deck, too worried about people casting spells before I've given it away haha. I also am building a Sefris deck, so I'll check out your precon video now :)
I wonder if jon irenicus is better off playing a token deck with decayed zombies and giving those away since they arent worth a card and your get a card when they attack. Cloning him with spark double or sakashima would be neat too to give away more tokens and draw more cards.
If i played with Jon Irenicus, i woukd he the biggest menace to the format. I would use mind control cards and give those cards to a different opponent. Maybe use a boardwipe and a card that lets me take creatures from my opponents graveyards
Did Liang Ying have to discard for being over max hand size at the end? He successfully played Ancient Silver Dragon which means he shouldn’t have a max hand size for the rest of the game, right?

raggadraggas ability triggers on cast, so craterhoof was an illegal target, since it hasnt resolved yet. Still a great match though!

I dont think it changed the outcome but worth noting that Raggadragga is an on cast trigger.

At 25:49, countering the mana drain delayed trigger is a misplay. Mana abilities, even if as a result of this, cannot be targeted.
Apparently Mana Drain does not count as a mana ability though
When Esmond cast Jon irenicus he had no other creatures when his end step triggered. so wouldnt he have to give away Jon irenicus to its own ability?

Kind of a big misplay at 9 minutes. Jon should have given himself to another player, but you kept him. Would have changed the entire game.
You did it later at 30:45 which makes the misplay worse! But otherwise a fine episode.
It’s “up to one” creature, so it’s not compulsory to give Jon to an opponent
