It’s not free you have to pay for the system and installation but when installed and operating your power bill should be reduced depending on what system you install the nil upfront cost is incorrect
Oh man. That’s such a hard one. Made is probably “saved” it depend on where you live and who your retailers is. Ask your installer? I don’t understand how installation companies don’t give customers access to this critical type of question!
Hii mate ! I want to start a lead generation business for solar in Australia. Which state will be best for this kinda business? Can you please help me with that.
How about informing the public the cost of installation, so it's not free as advertised, very misleading. Show on the ads this does not include installation, don't mislead.
Hmm, if someone is not advertising installation that’s dodgy. I think just about every advertised price would include the basic cost of installation. Some misleading companies will quote but will not tell you that you need to pay more for switchboard work on the day of installation etc. When we quote, we include everything - including any additional switchboard work etc. We also usually send an electrician to measure up before finalising the quote.
Does this apply to Queensland only or all ov Australia
Hi Patrick, it’s an Australian wide “rebate” so applies Australia wide
What is stc?
@@bravogold29 stc rebet is kinda subsidise from the government side..
When you sign your contract with a solar retailer or accredited installer, you sign over ownership of the STCs in return for the discount
Yeh, everyone quotes solar after the rebate. It’s the way STC’s were designed. It isn’t really practical for the customer to claim it.
Cool videos Mark
Hi Mark. Are there ant STC available for replacing an old PV grid connect system to a PV standalone battery system?
Yes there is Bruce. As long as you place all the major components - panels and inverter at least.

Hi, to be honest, Australia is pretty swamped with lead generation. There are a few established companies that dominate the market.
I rung your company. Trying to get hold of some one. We have yet to hear from the person so I’m losing confidence we will most likely buy elsewhere.
Oh, sorry to hear that! If you want to message via our website i can reply. mcelectrical.com.au/
@@mcelectrical hard to get hold of when I’m trying to buy. How hard is it going to be when I need warranty. Sorry went else where
