We viewed over 20 flats and I showed clips of most of them in this video with prices included. We were looking for a 3 bed under £2,400 in zone 1 or 2 (preferably in West London). We used rightmove and zoopla, but ultimately found our flat with rightmove.

I called like 300 flats in 3 weeks. Flat hunting in London is crazy right now and I am so happy I found something. At the end I just put an offer on every flat I was able to get a video from and actually got 2 flats at the same time. It was especially difficult because I wasn't in London and I am moving with my dog. Good luck for everyone looking right now.

I lived in Wandsworth for two years, right next to the Queen Adelaide pub, and prior to that in Tooting, South Wimbledon and Shepherds Bush...I can tell you that I preferred Wandsworth to everywhere I lived in London! I only moved during the pandemic cause I bought in Sutton. Still go back there all the time 🙂

I'm sorry I laughed when you mentioned there was a delay on the District line because it always seems to be delayed doesn't it? 😂 And I hear you about the flat hunt struggle in London! I'm Canadian and moved to London for law school (I go to City) and it took so long to finally secure my flat. I also had to put down 6 months and then another 6 months after 4 months so they would have 2 months notice if I couldn't make the payment. So frustrating and nothing like renting in Canada. Anyway, happy it all worked out in the end 💕

You looked at some nice places..West Hampstead and St John's Wood but they both come at a cost!
But yes finding property rentals in London is hard. I last rented a place in Greater London about 9 years ago and kept missing out like you guys.
I really enjoy all your videos. I love London. You are fortunate in that weren’t looking to rent in my own city- Dublin, Ireland. Far more difficult and expensive!
Wow! It really is crazy!!
UK population is rising by about 200,000 a year atm. The amount of available accomodation is not going up anywhere near that amount, so this is a supply and demand situation, especially in a built-up area like London. It doesn't help that a lot of the really expensive places have been purchased by people solely as an investment, and left empty.
