Interesting experiment. One thing you might find interesting is that a long time ago there was a team that made it all the way to second at a tf2 6s lan with a full time sniper named flippy.
yeah but sadly this would never work in a real game, half his kills were just the enemy team being dumb by not turning around when they know the enemy team is running a spy full-time
good content, i like to see spy in 6s as it can work with the right stuff. The only thing i don't really agree with is the med melee thing, that only really applies if you're undisguised im personally not a fan of killbinding just bc the med is running at me with the ubersaw
Picture this. You miss the stab on a medic, their team turns around and you're not disguised cause you swung your knife. The medic turns around, gets a saw on you, they pop from that additional percentage and wipe your team. Would it have been more effective to call out their Uber and kill binding rather than trying to kill them with their ENTIRE team backing them up? Not very likely. It's better to be informative rather than risk your life sometimes.
thats a bit iffy for me bc i still gotta do testing but i remembering hearing somewhere that you dont gotta be fully disguised for the med to not get uber and even if he does get the uber, your team should know before he even pops due to your call so they have an opportunity to kite said uber and walk back in with ~85-90% add. least thats how it works in HL im not sure abt how 6s ubers go. another thing to note is that usually it isnt just you going for the med but you and the soldier and/or demo to get that pick. if the entire team turns when you miss the stab then it wasnt really an optimal time to go for it because no one was distracted.
Amazing gameplay! Glad to see somebody else try out this format, and it seems to work very well for you! Can't wait to see more :]
Thank you so much Goldin! Thank you for being one of my main inspirations for going competitive with spy! (whether my team believes in me or not lol)
It's nice to watch some comp from spy perspective from good ol' coolstuff

It's nice to see someone try to make Spy viable in 6s, even if it's just scrims and old video 😅
