The way I see it, you can be boring and shy and still make it as an artist based on your music. Yeah, your live shows may not be so good and you may not carry a big aura around with you but you can still perfect the craft of songwriting and make money But then you have artists that are true entertainers.. Drake, Desiigner, Lil Yachty, Tekashi, Yung Thug etc. All of these guys have something special about them and they are interesting in one way or another, they aren't your quiet guys sitting in the basement recording songs..
Ray's quick, thoughtful consideration and verbalization of his answer, related to the "artist that is not an entertainer" question, was absolute perfection. Excellent interview, Be High!

I still make music a little bit but the way things are now I couldn't imagine being young again trying to come out it's like they market this stuff to my young brothers but they have to know that it's other stuff out there you can do other than being a rapper and a ballplayer to make money. And you don't have to be illegal either. Plus you can see rappers getting knocked off literally every day so why would you still want to do this. The whole 90s y'all they warned us about what's going on right now don't fall for the okey doke
