I read a comment last night from someone on a different video about the conflict on YT, who basically echoed what you just stated, and said that God would punish any nation that tries to destroy Israel in ways they couldn't even imagine. Thought that was being a little hyperbolic, honestly. But I've been thinking about it ever since, and I realize now that the reason it's affecting me so much is because it's the truth! There is about to be a reckoning for what happened on Oct 7, and through that process hopefully Israel will finally have the peace and stability they've fought so hard for, and for so long.

When my dad was about 2 months into a strike, mom started worrying about the food. Our Jewish neighbor showed up one day with a few other men from the synagogue, with boxes and boxes of food. They’d done a food drive for our Irish catholic family of 7. I’ll never forget. Never.

This is why it's more important to spread the Gospel, the truth about the kingdom of heaven, than it is to bury a corpse whose former inhabitant's chance to repent and find salvation has passed.
