      I believe from what he said on Joe Rogan he has probably realized it's important to not get sucked into tech, which is manifested in his interest in bjj and other physical activities and that has lead to a change in persona which stems from a core change rather than something superficial.

      Mark managed to say nothing for 3 hours! He only intimated they were working on "things to help businesses." Of course they are. Their stream of advertising revenue is about to be turned upside down by AGI. These two should get married since they enjoy stroking each other. We know they enjoy wrestling with each other. (Not that there's anything wrong with that - I would enjoy wrestling with Lex as well.) As far as his more developed interpersonal skills go, there were too many um, uh, and like, spoken for me to take him seriously as a CEO of one of the largest technology companies on the planet. He still sounds like a college kid who can't articulate what his company is doing.

      Although I agree, that is a question that needs to be asked I also think that in some way Lex doesnt have to ask... its all there for us to see. Lex is brilliant imo... its Lex´s non confrontatonal ways that even makes Zuckerberg talk. I share Zuckerbergs condition but we have nothing at all in common except for being socially "wierd".
      I dont know if this is becouse of cultural difference or the fact that Zuckerberg have trained his social skills a long time but from my perspective if he feels fear about anything he doesnt feel enough of it. as a engineer myself i am happy to see the movement towards shorter communication with decision makers. sometimes i work with small companies and their leader directly and i feel like i am enabled much more whenever i work with them. managers are just bad for tech.

    • @esachs90
      @esachs90 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed. However not exclusive to tech. Bureaucracy in general is slowing potential for efficient potential growth within companies in [most] industries.

    • @dekivanov
      @dekivanov ปีที่แล้ว

      @@esachs90, Bureaucracy allows for other processes to run smoothly if done right and as boring as it sounds, it is a dull engagement in itself, but the sum/result of it far outweighs the input, again assuming it is done right. In short bureaucracy is a enabling tool, not a goal or a result.

    This 2023 Zuckerburg model though more humanlike, creeps me out more for whatever reason. Looking into those empty beady eyes is too much like staring down a snake or a big ass bug. I give the alien design team an 8.5 out of 10 and hope they bring back the "I just dropped acid and ate shrooms" eyes from previous Zuckerburg models.

      I think he has evolved, as you would expect of most people. However, a lot of billionaires get lost in their glory I think, Mark has been following a noble path of self improvement despite his economic success. I have also found him to be quite a pleasant and thoughtful person after seeing his JRE/Lex appearances. I disagree with a lot of his business practices, morally, but I hope this growth of his will bleed into his business practices, and unless there are sinister reasons behind it as some have suggested, his willingness to open source projects is a good sign this could be happening already. Now I'd just like to see a much greater emphasis on protecting our data from unlawful spying and invasive marketing practice.

    Idea for facebook group admins, an ai that can respond simply. However it can study your previous comments and posts, and generate a list of 1000 answers to 100 questions and you can approve the responses or decline them then when the questions show up it can respond in the comments with a solid answer that you approve of. You can also script your own answers to replace the options the AI generated. And if an AI is unsure of how to interpret a question then you recieve a notification so your time isnt dedicated to answering the same question 500 times and instead you only have to answer it 5-10 times and the algorithm will figure it out. Would free up admin time to do things like go live, film content, study their craft, or run their business and their community they are working with will get the answers they need every single time!

Thanks for doing this interview and extra call out to having windows in the background showing nature. Look forward to more episodes with nature showcase.

    The people who comment stuff like "he's a really great guy!" should be aware of what he actually gets accused of and what people have a problem with. Like Free Basics in India and other countries, the killing of competition (data sharing between Whatsapp and Facebook when they previously said they wouldn't do that), an algorithmic feed where you miss a number of friends' posts (and they miss yours), and so on
