Best Canon R5 quick out-of-the-box setup to date. Voice clarity/speed cadence presentation were excellent. White balance general use for all occasions photography recommendation made a lot of sense provided one is shooting many photos in RAW format. Thanks.
As a sport photographer, I use the AWB and to Record Separately to Cards. AWB is much more universal to get the color balance within the ball park. Sunshine is too warm and different and brightness can vary when adjusting for correct color balance. I recommend adjusting a single RAW image in Adobe Camera RAW, select all images, and sync to the adjusted image. The other recommendation is to set record the RAWs and JPGs on separate cards. Writing both RAW and JPG on the same cards is slower on the CFexpress card and SD card simultaneously. Try that at 30 FPS on a football game or other high action sports and see how much the wait time to clear the buffer to both cards. I send the CRAW file to the CFexpress card and JPG files to the smaller SD cards, like the Lexar X2000 128 GB card. Hope this helps.
Your title says this video is for professionals. You lost me at your explanation of what is a RAW file. What photo professional doesn't know what a RAW file is?

Sorry to hear that I lost you! I know of many professionals who don’t know the advantages of shooting raw.
