@@StarlifeStudios no problem! If you want some more diesel thrash, I'd recommend going to the Severn Valley Railway on a steam or diesel gala. The galas of the SVR are some of the best in the country.
I’ve considered going to Galas before although I personally have a little more interest when the diesels are on the mainline but I can see if I can do anything 😃
Thank you for showing the station sign at the start of the video. Some people seem to take videos at various stations and hide all the signs. There were plenty of photographers there; did you see any actual passengers while you were there?
No problem at all David, its something I do on all my videos and I feel it starts the video well. I saw several passengers whilst there but more trainspotters got off the trains than anything else! 😃
Why are most freight trains/ECS movements or light engines very late or very early usually, and not on time? (When I say on time, I mean like 3 min early, 4 min late, something like that).
Simply put, more priority is placed on passenger services in the UK and this often leads to freight/LE moves being 'slotted' between passengers services. Basically, if the signaller believes that the freight can make it without holding up passenger services then they go early 😃 Hope this helps!
Does some of London Northwestern Railway trains go to London Euston and stop at Acton Bridge or do you have to change at Crewe or Stafford to continue your journey south to London Euston.
@@thomasgriffiths3001 I’ve been quite a lot and for some reason they don’t fit in the platform on Platform 2 and 3 which is a bit odd considering most of the trains are 8 car. I’m not sure about Platform 1 but then again that’s mostly for freight
Enjoy this SPECIAL video at Acton Bridge which includes 25 Freight Trains!
You guys are awesome, have a fantastic Christmas everyone! 😃🎄
Your videos are the best
@@maimadha A cut above the rest 👍
@@Starman2319 it's great to have a cut above the rest.

This place is great, been here quite a few times and what you see there is fantastic
Ah Acton Bridge, isn't it just the best?! Great stuff as always
I had no idea how great it was 😃

A fantastic job, yet again. Thank you for the vids through 2021. Keep 'em coming!!
Thanks Starman, I have many great videos coming up in the upcoming weeks 😃
@@StarlifeStudios That's awesome. Your vids rock!
A stobart container on a Malcolm train. Interesting. It's almost Romeo and Juliet
Great video mate. Acton Bridge is a nice station when 60096 went by, double 350s just pass through with a tone
Acton Bridge railway station is near the village of Acton Bridge, Cheshire, in the northwest of England.
I thought that first train was never going to end 😂
Some lovely catches during the Christmas season
this was filmed in june
Greatest way to film one of the greatest routes in Britain. It’s a TRIUMPH 😅

Plenty of locos in this one Ben 😉
Thanks 😊
How the heck did you get these videos? Plslink me up!
Love this location, such a great video as well 👍🏻 even caught some of mine 😀
Good video, you should do another one at Harringay, I love the elevation through that station.
Not a bad idea EC! With the 91s needing a re-paint this year as well, it's certainly where the activity will be 😃
Merry Christmas! You weren't kidding when you said it was amazing.
Absolutely! I know it was filmed in June but I’ve been holding this one for a special occasion 😉 Thanks Lord Everything!

May I ask one question: what editing software do you use? The info about each train looks great!
CHRISTMAS IS HERE :D !
Does some of London Northwestern Railway trains go to London Euston and stop at Acton Bridge or do you have to change at Crewe or Stafford to continue your journey south to London Euston.
You will have to change at either Crewe or Stafford. I don’t believe there has ever been a Liverpool to London service by LNR. Thanks Andrew 😃
@@StarlifeStudios Strange. But ok thanks 😊
@@StarlifeStudios Crewe and Stafford are great stations.
There has been a Crewe to London but not a Liverpool to London, though there’s plenty of stations en route that have a direct London service
I'm always surprised at the length those freight engines will pull...
Quick Question: What class are in the logo?? Thinking 43, 90/91 and 390...
I think it's 43, 91, and 800.

Never understood the point of just using front 4 carriages on a platform which is big enough for 8 carriages. Unless there's something I'm missing
The 8 carriages are a bit longer than the platforms
@@drw-jd6tu surely the other platform opposite is the same length which can fit the 8 carriages

Why do the 350’s have to make such an awful racket!??? It’s not a nice noise like the 37’s, the 40/50’s the 56 the 55’s.
They ain’t diesel locomotives that might answer your question
