Aggregates Carrier BERT PRIOR passing Greenwich on 7th May 2024.
BERT PRIOR is one of the oldest working boats on the River Thames and was built in 1961.

I have walked past it a few times but have never been in. It looks great from the outside. I had a look at their website and it looks great on the inside as well.

Great vid and good to see her still working the Thames.I think I still have photos of the other prior vessels from when I was first down at tilbury/gravesend.Shame Bert prior is the only one left.

Yes - I have only been filming the boats for 2 or 3 years so never saw the other ones. Bert Prior happened to come along when I was waiting for Viking Sky to depart so it was just pure luck!
