@@anotherperson6460 there was a lot of pass interference, holding and other penalties all throughout the game it's football on both sides they didn't call them That's no excuse when the Bears gave up so many penalty yards but the lion's still barely got the win. @@MindOfMurdock😂 it's nit discrediting the bears, but two scoring drives and plays came off of no call holds and both drives had clear delay of games not called. The officiating is trash this year is all it is
That was NOT PI on Vildor Bear never even made a move for the ball. Vildor didn't keep him from running the route or coming back for the ball, which wasn't even designed to go to him. That's why he was just standing there. Vildor had his hand on his back is all there was. He played pretty well for being a backup to a backup. And the right guard false started on the play anyway. On Allen's 1st TD there was a blatant hold on the right tackle that would have been a sack otherwise. On the no call on St. Brown, just because the defender gets his head around doesn't excuse causing the receiver to fall forward. Also, 2nd half those were mostly practice squad players on the D line as 3 starters were injured. DJ Reader got the only game ball for playing his ass off without as much rotation. Honestly, y'all are lucky we had CB1 CD3 out, LB1 Anzalone out, LB2 Barnes out, LB5 Reeves-Maybin out, DE1 Hutchinson out, DE2 Davenport out, DL Paschal out, DL Onwuzurike out and 4th quarter LB4 Rodriguez out, oh, and starting LT Taylor Decker out.
Had JWill not gone out of bounds on his swing pass all of this would be moot! Gotta keep your head in the here and now J. Glad the sidelines let him have it, you is not a rookie and w/ 10 min. left nursing 10 pts. ya gotta fight to run the clock! Let the clock be yo friend.
My thanksgiving day watch group was 2 lions fans, a packers fan, and a bucs fan. All 4 of us watching were shouting at the tv for a timeout to be called. Like I wanted the lions to win, but just as someone who enjoys watching the sport it hurt to watch the game end like that.
@@josephboyce3212 I swear I agree all day regardless of who's playing with an ending like that you'd want to see the football played correctly but hey for the first time ever the Bears fired a coach mid-season so things are definitely different in this time around
As a Lifelong Lions fan, I really do admire the athletic talent on the Bears team. The Bears were 4-2 after 6 games. Then they ran into a curse the Lions have experienced for decades. I believe the Bears are a good head coach away from success.
The Bears players and coaches quit after the 4th and 14 throw. That play was no PI. The Bears reciever won't admit it but he throws his hands in the air because it was a bad throw and he quit on it, but somehow the refs call a PI.
Tyreek Stevenson #29 for the Bears tripped Jamo on the sideline and yelled "get yo ass up", which led to Jamo flipping the ball at him. He wasn't even on the field. Notice the NFL edited that out of the highlights. Dude needs to be fined or suspended.
The penalty fool! Why you not show that? 12:04. That shifted everything! JWill is not anything but flash, he needs to fight to stay in bounds and strangle ya"ll with the clock nuff said!
Lmao that's a cut from the highlights I don't think you should blame me for this lol Also as far as I can tell they don't show every play on a "highlight" reel.
I feel like the Lions was in control most of that game.. people trippin over not calling time out.. but if Gibbs doesn't fumble or Bates didn't miss that field goal this game is out of reach regardless...
Like, I'm glad my team won, but we can acknowledge our team got that win because of stupidity. We literally just sat there for 15 seconds not sure we had actually won it was so dumb. Even Coach Campbell was confused.
We won because of that. They have to make a long fg to tie. Lmfao. Bears havent won in ot. Lions havent lost in ot. So how the f did the no timeout cost them the win.
Lions lost 3 more defensive players in this game too. LB Rodriguez is out for the season with a torn ACL. Pascal and Onwuzurike will likely miss some time too. They signed LB Kwon Alexander and DL Jonah Williams from practice squads. Half our defense wasn't on the team at the beginning of the year, lol...
one thing to keep in mind, is that Detroit's defense was dropping with injury after injury in the 2nd half. if that doesnt happen and the fumble in the 1st half doesnt, it's not close. The refs were terrible in this game both ways. That PI on 4th down against the Lions was the weakest I've seen. There was also a false start on that same play that wasn't called. On the flip side, that horse collar on the bears was a weak call.
Our defense was also out for the year, with Brisker being a big miss and DT Billings, who I don't believe in playing past the third down... He and others were gone, so it's easy to say we would have gotten the Lions maybe also. End of the day ppl were saying we would be crushed and it was a fight to the end unlike other "top teams" against the Lions so far but great game! THE NORTH IS STRONG INDEED! ....now we need a coach lmao
That horse collar was bad. And I haven’t seen it for my self but if it’s true that Jamo was tripped deliberately on his penalty could that have gone the other way as un-sportsman like?

It was "weak" but it wasn't wrong (the horse collar). It was according to the rules. We're just used to seeing it as a play when the guy is running down the field, so it's REALLY obvious. The PI call wasn't "weak", it was blatantly incorrect.
