What are my opinions of Every MLB Team's Logos? People always ask me which MLB Logo is the best and which MLB Logo is the worst, so I made a video today giving you my MLB Logo rankings. Let me know what your favorite MLB Logo is in the comment section!

Coming from a Yankees fan, I really like the Toronto Blue Jays hats and jerseys, their logos everything EVERYTHING! It’s just so clean
When I was little My dad went on a business trip to Canada and went to a blue Jay's game. He brought me back a batters helmet that lit up.the way the blue popped it was so vibrant. Always loved the way it looked

1. The letters in “win” are underlined in the Twins logo
2. The Nationals “W” looks too similar to the Walgreens “W”
It is the other way around. Walgreens' 'W', looks too much like the Nationals 'W'. That 'W' style...was incorporated by the old Washington Senators, years before Walgreens ever adopted it. So yeah...Walgreens copied it from the Washington Senators. Not a big fan of the W script though. I think a regular block W would look better. (But I like the Cleveland Indians block 'C', as well..so what do I know...lol).
The thing with the "win" for the Twins logo is pretty cool. But as a Nats fan since they came to DC, disagree with this Walgreens commentary. The Walgreens logo has this uncanny valley effect for me where it's curvey but at the same time it's written along a straight horizontal line. Those two things don't match for me. The Nationals logo is cooler because its written diagonally as if it's a more an off the cuff signature. It works better with curvey font, but hey I'm also a Nats fan so what can I say.
@@baberoot1998 I never noticed until my little brother use to say "Walgreens hat!" All random when I would wear my fitted, then one day I passed by my local Walgreens and yeah the W looked the same, just never notice lol

Fun fact: The Boston "B" is based off the Brooklyn Dodgers primary logo, which was a B and then changed after the franchise moved to Los Angeles.
ElytraDNF I don’t know about that. Many of the old Red Sox caps feature a B that looks very similar to old Dodgers B, especially from the 40s and 50s. The Red Sox may have switched to a Brooklyn-inspired B after the Dodgers moved West, I don’t know, but it wasn’t much of a change if at all. Another thing to keep in mind is that before the 1050s, team logos often changed slightly from year to year. The designs weren’t as official as they are today. The Yankees and Red Sox and Dodgers all had many many variations of their iconic logos. I’d love to read more about the Brooklyn-inspired B on the Red Sox caps, so if anyone knows any sites that delve into the history of the B logo, put up a link! I’d love to learn more.
Fun fact: the Mets colors are inspired by the two teams that left New York, the NY Giants orange and Brooklyn Dodgers blue. They also retained the NY logo the Giants used.
Jack Hoff Indeed! This is one of my favorite anecdotes about team logos and the early years of the Mets. It’s a touching and fitting tribute. The Giants and Dodgers were so beloved, and the Mets did well to honor them.

Yes but most of the world doesnt know anything about baseball ,they either wear the NY or LA caps because they just like the design or they think it mean the city of NYC or LA.

@@SCPAEAS New York Giants manager John McGraw insulted the A’s calling them white elephants so Connie Mack manager/Owner of the club for 54ish years in kind of an fu embraced it and before the 1905 World Series he gave McGraw a stuffed elephant. By the end of the decade it was on the uniform. And aside from Charlie Finley’s time as owner it has basically been around ever since.

you should have shown the logos in the top right corner of the screen because the Knicks logo on the wall is interfering with a lot of the logos... Also why Knicks on a baseball channel?

Did you know there’s a hidden logo inside the old Milwaukee Brewers logo with the glove and the ball? If you look closely, you will actually see that lacing for the fingers is a M, and the thumb part surrounding the baseball is actually a B, for Milwaukee Brewers.

I'm surprised you didn't mention that the W on the Nationals' logo looks a lot like the Walgreens W. I say that as a Nationals fan. However, that fact that it is cursive does give it some swoops and old school charm, despite only dating back to 2005.

The Mets logo is great for so many reasons. The colors of course are fantastic but as Marc mentioned, they incorporate the city skyline and all the Boroughs, from left to right: a church steeple (repping Brooklyn, the borough of churches) the Williamsburg savings bank building (tallest in Brooklyn), the Woolworth and Empire State Building and then the United Nations Building, all being connected by the suspension bridges seen all around New York City. Add in the baseball seams and it’s the most harmonious logo in sports...but I’m not bias at all ;)
Padres old logos were THE GOAT. Then they decided to go with an SD... EITHER WAY GO FRIARS

The old Milwaukee Brewers logo where the "M" and the "B" made a baseball mit was awesome. The old colors were not as good, but if you could make the letters into a mit with the new colors it would totally rock!!!

9:53 A cartoonist by the name of Ray Gotto designed the Mets logo. He entered a contest and received $1000 for his winning entry.
As a White Sox fan I really like the sock logo and it looked really good on the left arm of the road grey jerseys but a few years back the swapped it out for the script "SOX" logo and I really don't like it. Glad to see they kept it on the black alternates though.
I'm a big Texas Rangers fan, and at my school it was either the Cardinals or the Rangers so there was a bit of a rivalry. It helps that I was born in Texas and lived there for 10 years before moving.
You're totally right about MLB bird logos (Blue Jays, Cardinals & Orioles), Marc. Can't go wrong with them, and they're all favorites of mine.
I'd do you one further on the Yankees' logo, and say that it's not just the most iconic in baseball, but likely the most iconic in all of sports worldwide. At least I can't think of any that comes too close.
As an Angels fan, I take umberage with your assessment of my team's logo. Sometimes, simplicity is best. There's nothing wrong the logo. It tells everyone who the team is. Simple...to the point. Lot better than some of the other busier logos in MLB.
I know you're pretty unbiased after loving all things Cardinals when they beat the Mets in the 2006 NLCS although I don't know how old you were at the time.

I know you rip on the Brewers current stuff, which is understandable...but what do you think about the glove logo from the 80's. To me it's one of the best logo's in baseball and they should have never gotten rid of it, but I'm glad they are starting to bring it back.
As a Brewer fan, I can say I do prefer the old logos than the new ones so I get it where you are coming from.

Hi Marc I enjoyed this video and was just curious why you didn't tall about the Mets "NY" hat logo? Since you covered the TC, B, P, and other ones that are strictly on hats. I feel like our Mets NY logo is one of the best hat logos in sports too, much cooler looking than the ugly curved Yankee NY.

There is a classic SD logo with a Friar swinging a bat that they brought back in 2020 I think.
Just noticed that the R on the Rays logo looks like a tail which looks like a nod to the old Devil Rays. Could be wrong.
