hi sorry, private candidate here, so I can choose which Shakespeare text to write an essay on? I don't have to study Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet, I can just study one for my exam?
So in 2025 will you be able to choose the texts you write bout too? I’m home educated and going to a private school for exams and I only know Romeo and Juliet and Frankenstein.
Correct. Just check on the AQA website that the texts have been continued into the new year. They occasionally add or remove texts from year to year but most core Shakespeare and 19th century stay the same.

Correct. Choose one Shakespeare text to answer only. You can study any of the texts on the exam spec. It's your choice.
