Desperate is an understatement ! It actually started when Kelly was PC, implemented the college credits then the job got people who didn’t want to be cops but people who took basket weaving and accounting and they didn’t get those $200K a year jobs they were told we’re out there !

I'm a Midwesterner (although I Did live in the NY/NJ Metro for ten years.) a LOT of you are saying that being a Cop sucks. I became a Physician. THAT can Suck, Too.

You have to study a bunch of BS stuff that you will Never, Ever Use. (I shouldn't be complaining-I'm Grateful that I don't need to know that crap anymore.)
While Residency training is less intense than a Military Field like the Police, it lasts for at Least three years. For an Internal Medicine Doctor to really earn the Big Bucks, he needs a Good Fellowship, in Cardiology or GI, and THAT takes additional years.
There are a LOT of new hassles these days. The Worse, IMHO, is the Electronic Health Record.
Some of you Did major in Criminal Justice in College. But, once the Hell of The Academy is over, you are Free-at Least, on your Off hours.
