not only did this kid manage to make every single wrong decision possible including damning humanity to a bad ending, but also sacrificed his cat at the beginning of the movie. massive L to whoever wrote this move
I mean it wouldn't really damn humanity, the chemical potency would eventually spread too thin to work anymore...it might even spread too thin in the water...but the infect fish might infect a few more people befoew it spread too thin.
Unlike a virus or fungus a chemical like this wouldn't be self replicating.
The cat is a cat. The cat is most likely to survive.
Do you really think you'd make better decisions?
The writer definitely understands the average humans with almost zero survival instincts in normal times. Most people don't teach kids to handle severed limbs the scientific way.
Once you make a zombie movie, you can't stop.
Which make it worse with how there is no sequel of this.
Ironic, since that makes me think Resident Evil beside live action movie to be more interesting as zombies were around but society still works
all of that effort to get rid of the zombies only to get it ruin by the kid throwing dangerous biohazard in the rivers XD
Maybe they should have tried to help survivors or cure people instead of eliminating them.
@@rayleigh8 realistically that would be more effort and resources then just completely eliminating any possibility of the virus spreading.
The only remaining material evidence is useless 🗿
Guess we know whos the jerk
nah, given how the zombies searched for water and sunlight + dying everywhere on the island the infection had already spread, a couple days of fishing and it wold have broke through anyway.
the amount of times they left that lil kid alone is insane wtf
Right? Through the whole movie I kept screaming for Andre to just put her baby cozy on his back so he could carry her everywhere.
@@prettyevil6662000 yup true he's worst brother ever.
I honestly thought the poor thing would die. But it didnt
@@jymyrionwashington6849he's a child himself and is doing what he can.
@@jymyrionwashington6849 probably not the worst but he is just a kid
So you know this spreads via water and you know that it can infect multiple species from the dog, yet you drop an infected arm into a large body of water where hundreds of other species live? This kid takes the smooth brain award from Koalas lol.
Yup he's dumb as f### and he did more worse than the 2 kids from 28 Weeks Later.
movie logic lol the kid and dan both are born stvpid
Wouldn’t of mattered. Most of the island had transformed and the infected always searched for water and sunlight, so they would of gone into the river and pass it into the water.
@@Psion_Phoenix It would already be in the river just from ground water runoff...but a chemical like this would dilute to the point of not being potent enough to cause transformations eventually. Unlike a virus or fungus a chemical isn't self replicating...
It was already in the water. That’s why they drank it.
It's a good thing Dan did so much survival training so that he knew to go to the supermarket for food.
Yup true.
They're on an island surrounded by zombies. Idk what you expect him to do.
@@jackstone2176 The point being made is, that's basically what survival training mounts up to.
- take opportunities to get supplies, using tools etc...
The character did nothing significantly different everyday people would do.
It's just often "Survival training" and "doom prepping" is overhyped, glamorized and sold as something more beyond common sense.
There's a real difference between surviving and living completely independent from society and modern day infrastructure which "reality" tv shows like "survivor island" etc.. tried to market.
IF we want to see real living independent of modern conveniences, we can just look at how some tribespeople living in forests and bushes live.
@@AdmiralBisonagree, survival training gets completely misrepresented as both something extreme AND something that doesn’t help you anyway.
It just comes across as resentment of people worried they won’t survive in extreme situations but who are also unwilling to learn anything useful.
Jeez, you don’t have to live in a bunker eating canned beans wearing a tinfoil hat. Go fishing, go hunting, go camping, learn to read a map, learn what plants are and how they’re useful, learn first aid… these aren’t extreme things, these are hobbies.
@@brettyates7054hobbies that could save your life if you have no other chances.
Damn, Dan tried to do everything right but jumping in the pools is what screwed him, and the filmakers played with us by making him get cured the minute they go put him and his daughter down.
When the kid did everything wrong and somehow survived, and of course cherry on top by helping the virus spread out faster by dropping the arm.
Seriously that kid did every possible thing wrong aside lighting the fire.
It's only wrong from your perspective.
Dan did everything wrong
Mainly depends on your point of view, and his only hope was to survive, which he did.
Dan didn't do everything right. He attempted to save his daughter, Patricia. Which is what led him to jump into the water in the first place so it was clearly the wrong thing to do. But also trying to save an infected person is the number 1 thing you don't do according to zombie movies. It was also the only really wrong thing Andre did in the movie. He was keeping Patricia's arm because he wanted the military to be able to use it to develop a vaccine - which was a very smart idea, keeping a piece of a zombie but not the whole zombie so he wasn't in danger but it could be used by scientists.
The water he ultimately dropped the arm into was probably already going to be infected anyway since water runoff and the like was going to contaminate it and it doesn't really matter since the company that released the fertilizer already has a cure. A spread will actually make it harder for them to keep it quiet unlike if it had remained confined to the island the government and corporation had succeeded at wiping out all the evidence. I think Andre did everything right.
@@prettyevil6662000no he not, he's wrong throw the zombie arm in the river and make no sense he's right?🤨
5:52 "so he kicks it away" i like how calmly you said that and the dog just starts flying
You know its a computer/ai narrating the video right?
And it's a zombie dog. You don't give belly rubs or head scratches to 'em do ya?
AI doesn't have feelings
@@holly__carp that was 4 months ago you should have replied to the most recent comment but no, you decided to reply to a old ass comment.i am not trying to be toxic or anything, but why just why.
How do you define dumb? Throwing an infected arm inside a river
Yup true.
What? You mean if a Pike or something casually waltzes up to it and immediately becomes unpredictably freaking dangerous compared to a barracuda?
Dumb move true but not relevant either. The zombies are sun and water crazy, aka they would end up in the sea water at some point (cause you can only hope that you did kill all). Another thing is birds, zombie birds will sure as hell spread the virus into other cities cause remember that birds drink water.
Also the bridge explosion, you wanna tell me that no zombies fell into the water?
So while what he did was dumb, it doesn't change the fact that with or without his input humanity was fucked the moment they chose to make that fertilizer and on an island surrounded by water too
Andrew almost killed his little sister with all the stuff on top of her!
I was thinking that as well!
He almost killed her with every decision he made, hell she became a zombie, if it wasn't for the cure he dropped she would have stayed a zombie.

Very rare do you see a zombie movie where it affects animals equally to humans, even rarer do they use those animals as an actually threat.
Love the resident evil movie for that reason. The dogs were scarier than the regular zombies.
Those zombies are running like they're in a marathon. Funniest thing i've seen all day. Along with Andre never drinking water...how are you alive, bro?!
He probably does, his mom just puts it in Diet Coke cans so he wont notice.
he never drinks water directly. coke is like 90% water
20% of our daily water intake comes from food. The rest comes from drinks. Juice, sugary drinks, beer, coffee, tea, ect. still hydrates you. Just not as efficiently.
I only started drinking water when I left the cool country and came to the hot town area for work. I was always cool and not thirsty when I lived in the country so I never felt to drink water. I drank home made fruit juices or ate fruits when they were in season. Me & my 2 kidneys survived
Pop is carbonated water and syrup
the mom survives a car accident but cant survive a tv falling on her
Exactly this! I was wondering if someone else noticed this too. Human skulls are not so weak that they go crunch splat from a flat screen tv falling on them from such a low height lmao at most you’d probably get a gash on your head
But I guess maybe the logic behind this is that once you turn into a zombie your body becomes fragile? That would explain why that zombie girl’s arm snapped off so easily. Only problem I have with this is that it makes the zombies seem a lot less threatening and easier to defeat and therefore less entertaining lol
@@tamanegi8985 the TV must have been made of lead.
is this real movies ??
Why did the twins shoot each other when they were still in the room with the antidote gas?
they are apart of the company that supplied the town with the fertilizer that turned the snow into grass. They were trying to infect everyone to exterminate them so they can hide any evidence of the causes. since they were turning into zombies they killed each other.
Good question. Writers missed that one.
Probably part of the plan.
I don't think they saw it. It was a ball that fell by mistake.
this movie's writing is shit ngl
The movie is called Brain Freeze, and it's a satire, meaning everyone here thinking on how dumb or ironic the circumstances are miss the context. That's one of the problems of these robot movie recaps - you get a plot synopsis without feeling. Imagine a plot synopsis of True Romance, or American Psycho, or Fargo. Without the tonal context, the plot just becomes nonsensical murder and inscrutable character decisions.
Some of the worst(scariest) type of zombie worlds you can be at is when humans are not the only things that can not be infect, AND that the virus mutates to no end.
imagine suspecting the outbreak to have spread via water from the water plant and then proceed to also jump into unidentified pool of water located at said water plant which additionally now has his fully infected daughter in it...😂
why would he just leave the cat bruv thats savage
dude constantly leaves the baby to wander around and practically smothers her.
It's either the cat or the well being of him and his sister.
Screw the cat, dude almost got his baby sister killed
It’s an old trope in zombie movies, releasing a dog or cat to draw away zombies. And it’s usually explained away that the zombies are slow and the animal can get easily in small hiding spots, so the animal is probably fine.
@@Itried20takennamesnine lives and all that. I’m positive my cat would survive a zombie apocalypse, even those WWZ fast zombies. 😂
I much prefer the slow, stumbling zombies on The Walking Dead rather than the running ones like on Train to Busan! 😂
Me to 😂
Zombies from "I am a legend" more scarier if u think abt it
Not only they pretty fast they can also repeat the action of what they have done b4 dead
infected on 28 days later and world war z are one of the scariest cause they run fast and don't get tired
How about Dark Hole, that drama way too twisted and the last boss really adorable compared to zombies. Its too packed with genre.
the sadness is the winner of this competition,no doubt
One thing about all of these movies: it's always the kids that are the biggest threats. Yet somehow they always survive, for once I'd love to see a movie where when the kids screw up - that's it.
Also, the film makers did a horrible job showing Dan to be a survivalist. One of the first things you learn as one is how to make a fire without any modern tools. Again, another failure, and yet another reason why I wish these movies would show how *real* survivalists would do things.
Real survivalists still rely on modern tools. Most equipment isn’t made from scratch, so the moment it breaks down there’s no replacement. Also kids are superspreaders.
@@peek-a-boos True they do, but a survivalist knows how to rely not on the modern tools of today but on their environment as well.
Same goes from the movie 28 Weeks Later kids really ruin everything 😂
28 weeks later lol

I know right.
But it definitely survived cause the zombies are really stupid and useless in this movie.
There is horrible consistency with how they potrey the zombie's strength with some barely able to walk and some sprinting but it's meant to be a zombie that can barely walk I think the writers probably just got confused. This mean's the cat can easily get between them and can survive
It's always the animals/exotic pets in movies that get the short end of the stick

Ukraine under Biden: Quick! We have to train all our citizens how to use and carry guns!
Israel at the beginning of 2023: You must undergo background check, full medical exam, psychological examination, have a "good reason", pay fees, get fingerprinted, pass a firearms test, and wait months to buy one pistol and a YEAR'S supply of fifty (50) cartridges.
