Nowadays, Spirit of the Jaguar houses three in which they've got Inka who is a female melanistic black jaguar who was the first jaguar to be born at the Big Cat Sanctuary.
I moved to Australia this month! I’m now living in NSW, Newcastle. I’m really upset since I won’t be able to go to UK zoos and visit my other family members.😔
Heath’s Reptile kingdom That’s a shame but when everything is ok again you can visit loads of great UK zoos. Pretty much all of the zoos in the uk are of high quality!
Personally, I would like to see them devote the entire suitable enclosure space to Jaguars (adding in the space used by bears and other range of carnivores over the years).
Hari Jones Yes they tend to rotate the animals that live in that enclosure. When I visited Bernie was living in the enclosure but I also have seen sun bears and bush dogs living in that enclosure.
Pls note that there is no such thing as a black panther -- there are black leopards & black jaguars, not black panthers. A 'panther' is another name for a large wild cat known by the names of cougar, mountain lion & puma; they are solid brown, the same color as their prey. But they are never black & do not have spots or rosettes.

I'm from Hungary. I very like animals. My favourite animals is big cats. The black jaguar is beautiful. In Hungary three zoos have jaguar.
I last visited Chester zoo in 2008, when I was 3!

When I last visited, yes the bush dogs were in the old indoor bear enclosure. There was a bear housed in the outside enclosure next to the building.

Planet Zoo has recently announced that they will be adding jaguars to their game so when they do, I will build Spirit Of The Jaguar in Planet Zoo!

Last time I visited there were bush dogs where the Andean bear is
yes the bush dogs lived there whilst their main enclosure was being updated. Usually it houses the male andean bear.
