i screwed the commentary up real bad in the C-main.. had to voice over a lot of it.. that god for editing
Love the channel this was the first oval racing that I have done I ran street stock and latemodel alot of fun and so many nice people

Looked like John made some really fast laps just didn't have luck on his side to make the final bump up but great racing! Looking forward to moving up to Mudboss myself this year after winning the points at our local track last year in Stock Slash.
I think Jon had the wrong gear on in qualifying. He looked strong staying out in front of the leaders. He needed a better starting spot in the B-main for sure

What gears were you running. Jonny looking good. The chassis is just a Traxxas Slash? With a high center of gravity chassis.
How do you find these big events?
What does it cost to get into the RC Sprint ? A car to learn with and then do what is necessary to be competitive ? Another question, is there a controller that gives you feed back ; like a rc version of feeling what a full size race car gives threw the seat and the steering?

Is a mudd boss just a xl5 189 dollar special slash or can u use lcg chassis?
189 special, with a dirt modified body

@@jeffbryner5355 we run about 200 laps a weekend on that motor. Im not 1 issue. I have 2 backups and have never used them
@@nathanstone7944 u running lipos on it and what is gearing?. No one at my track runs that motor except the rental trucks u can use for novice class. My kids have slashes both on there second motor my neighbor has been threw like 4 lol. I have had them get hot and smoke i have had bearing seize up. This was all with stock slash gearing. Not the 23 pinion they send u with the truck
Yea im running gens ace 5800mah 100c 2s batteries. 18t / 90t pinion/spur gear. Motor runs about 90°F after our 50 lap main event. I run about 80 practice laps, 3 for qualifying, 15 for heats, 40 for the bmain and then 50 in the A main so 188 laps give or take sometimes i run more than 80 laps in practice. At the pther track we race i run 6 cell nimh batteries and it runs even cooler on those. The 12t is a solid brushed motor the xl5 esc on the other hand i hate, on my 2nd one of hose so i orderd a hobbywing quicrun 1080 esc
