Great video! The higher price batteries, are assembled in the USA. The parts and cells come from China, and the Americans put it together. The lower price batteries, are all the same china parts and cells, just assembled in China. Ready to go for a low price. We put LiTime batteries. After Will Prowes, broke one down. Now he recommends these for low budget solar builds. We have 400ah, of LiTime, and 800w on the roof.
Thank you! I love the parchment sheet tip. The well trimmed beard is back 👍. (I’m sure the style has a special name that I have no idea what it is.) Grateful for no shave November 😉. That’s when my hubby regrew his several years ago. 🥰😍
I’m not sure he even knows what he’s working towards on the beard. I think a short trim is the goal for now. Don’t know I that he loved the beardless look.
@ When I first saw him without it, I was wondering who you were doing a video with. I just didn’t recognize him without it. My husband has a full trimmed beard. When he has shaved it off, I feel like I am cheating on him with his younger brother. I prefer the older brother look.🥰
Hey guys 👋 😃, Thank you. I appreciate your transparency with the products. There's endless information to this lifestyle. 😮. Despite all that I can't wait to get to Freedom. Thanks again ✌️ 😁.
As always, great video, lots of good ideas. My "home port is in Oregon. The refletx insulation works very well to keep out the cold as well as blocking heat.
So sorry. Technical delay. We are in the final stages. Be sure to get on our email list from our website. We’ll roll it out there first. I promise… it’s soooooo close.
We just traded in our Chaparral 5th wheel for a 2025 Alliance Valor 44v14. It came with 800w of solar and a Yamaha 6kw generator on-board. Yep, not an Onan. The generator has a remote start key fob. The geny is quiet and reliable. Like Honda level. Absolutely love the new rig and it's geny.
Good to hear the new units have a great gen these days. I wish it was an option when we purchased because now it’s way too painful to purchase an onboard separately. 😜 Hope that Alliance is everything you hoped. We do love ours.
You are the second to mention it. If we find ourselves using our heater more, we will certainly look into it. We try not to be in places we even need it, but it happens from time to time. Thanks for the tip👍
Love your videos. When you go away from your trailer for a while, what do you do with your generator & bikes? Lock them up? We have the same generator & it's very heavy to lift in & out of the truck.
We have heavy duty locks for both. Like super heavy duty. Not cable locks. They are in our Amazon store on our website under bikes. We have never had a problem with theft but someone would certainly think twice about even trying to steal them when they see these kind of locks
Will definitely be getting a battery or two. IDK about a generator… if I ever get away from here, it’ll be someplace where it doesn’t rain for weeks at a time.
Good video 😊 just saying my first rv didn't have a on board generator so I had small generator my next rv came 65 onan generator I didn't like lugging that portable generator safe travels
I have another friend who quit his job, bought an RV sold their home and are setting out after Thanksgiving this year. I asked him what his exit strategy is, he said they are gong to go until they run out of money and then find jobs to continue the adventure.
What built in vents?. lol there really aren’t any. Or at least none I would trust to vent propane fumes. It’s just as easy to crack a window a bit. You don’t even notice it.
Should note that propane heaters release moisture into your camper that could become problematic, installing a diesel heater may be a better option in the long run.
We haven’t experienced that but if we need heat so much that we need to install a diesel heater… we are camping in the wrong places. lol Thanks for the info, we did not know anything about propane releasing moisture. 👍
Question about the water. I like the idea of having more water available, but what happens to your gray water after taking those long showers or filling your water tank multiple times?
We have a bladder for waste similar to the water. Many have freaked out about it but a large camco tank will work as well. We have had zero problems with this new waste tank setup. th-cam.com/video/__JD7u2viXI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gOQ5FK4b0RrA0qy2
Not the install. We hired someone. This is our most detailed one where we talk about the consultant we used and the panels and setup we have. th-cam.com/video/UpwgAYhqx7I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NglzGrRcGLLNMVh5
@ yea I have the same model Valor as you and mine came with the solar plus package but I definitely want to upgrade at some point over the next couple years. Looks like your batteries fit nicely in the compartment
@@gregorymg2006we just had the basic… it did nothing really. lol this setup works darn well and we have room for another couple panels on the roof. If we put anymore batteries in we’ll have to build a shelf or put some in the above bay. I don’t think we need more than 800ah
Yes, we got weighed again after the solar install. We shed our onboard gen that was in front and a washer dryer, so we did just fine on weight and distribution. At the Xscapers events they have this cool portable weighing service that shows you all your numbers truck front to Rv back. Even left to right. Very handy.
YT wouldn’t let me respond last week, but… 17 TX counties that require emissions inspections will still mandate annual tests regardless of the bill becoming law.
So it’s so strange. Barry has the app but it’s no longer offered in the App Store. They must have discontinued offering it but if you already have it, it’ll still work. We did find this www.pure-gas.org/
Nope. But of you’re not comfortable. Don’t go there. We’ve used it for a bit now. No issues. this was recommended by a viewer who used it far longer than us. Just do what you’re comfortable with.
I'm addicted to these videos, yours had so many different ideas. Thank you
We're glad you like them!
Great video!

@@Darnabymom Didn't like the non-beard look. Happy to see it come back.
I'm so glad you brought up the batteries. We're buying an RV this spring and I've been eyeing the Redodo batteries.
They’ve been working really well for us and we love that they are going our peeps a little extra discount.👍😜
Hey guys 👋 😃,

You are very welcome.
As always, great video, lots of good ideas.
My "home port is in Oregon. The refletx insulation works very well to keep out the cold as well as blocking heat.
We were just talking about that. I should have mentioned that as well. Good tip
When are you releasing the online course you talked about a few weeks ago? I've been checking every day!
So sorry. Technical delay. We are in the final stages. Be sure to get on our email list from our website. We’ll roll it out there first. I promise… it’s soooooo close.
I really enjoy the two of you and how well you share your ideas and experiences. Keep up the good work. Thanks…
You’re too kind - Thanks for the encouragement!

Awesome video, you both do such a good job of it.
Also love the coordinates for that area. Hope to be rving in the coming year. Thanks again
Thanks so much - we love sharing our experiences!
I put a 8KW Portable Diesel Heater in my 5th wheel I love it 😁
You are the second to mention it. If we find ourselves using our heater more, we will certainly look into it. We try not to be in places we even need it, but it happens from time to time. Thanks for the tip👍
That is a beautiful area you were in. Great video with tons of info. Thank you.
You're welcome! It was a beautiful spot.
Great ideas for RVing. One thing that I noticed was the ordering info for the water bladder fittings is missing.
Shoot. My edits must not have saved. Sorry about that. I just added them to the description of the video.
What a beautiful area, glad you are enjoying it.😊
Thanks! This area is a great place to escape for a while!

Thanks! We’re glad it was helpful. Thanks for tuning in❤️

Too much rain and we leave: lol
Good video 😊 just saying my first rv didn't have a on board generator so I had small generator my next rv came 65 onan generator I didn't like lugging that portable generator safe travels
On board is certainly more convenient.
I have another friend who quit his job, bought an RV sold their home and are setting out after Thanksgiving this year. I asked him what his exit strategy is, he said they are gong to go until they run out of money and then find jobs to continue the adventure.
Wow! That’s certainly brave. We are not those people. We are exit plan people. lol
one more comment, for heater venting in the toy hauler garage, have you tried using the built in vents on the walls instead of the windows?
What built in vents?. lol there really aren’t any. Or at least none I would trust to vent propane fumes. It’s just as easy to crack a window a bit. You don’t even notice it.

As some else with a lot of battery up front (4 8Ds about 360Lbs) hows your tongue weight doing?

We love our Outland fire pit, but boy it will use up some propane
That is true. lol why we will go with solo stove first BUT sometimes that firewood is pricey too. 😜

Good to know. Thank you for the info
I couldn't find the Pure Gas app??? Was that the correct name?
So it’s so strange. Barry has the app but it’s no longer offered in the App Store. They must have discontinued offering it but if you already have it, it’ll still work. We did find this www.pure-gas.org/
This water bladder is listed as not for potable water. That doesn't bother you?
Nope. But of you’re not comfortable. Don’t go there. We’ve used it for a bit now. No issues. this was recommended by a viewer who used it far longer than us. Just do what you’re comfortable with.
Please be careful so close to the border. I live in Tucson and the amount of people coming across the border makes that area unsafe. 😢
