This is the most impressive, eye opening, awakening book I’ve ever read. I really appreciate the work went into this.

My wife and I are publishing a book later this year called “Consciousness in a Nutshell.” If you really want your mind blown, you might want to check out our explanation of consciousness. In an interview recently, I told the interviewer that The Immortality Key was like the epilogue to our book as it further props up the idea of consciousness we espouse. It would seem as if Brian and I were visited by the same genius. Using ‘genius’ in the ancient Greek sense of the word, of course.

This is an outstanding conversation. This was really inciteful and illuminating. Many of the points you touch on dovetail well into some of the concepts that I've been considering this year (plenty of time for meditation, study and reflection). Thank you so much for being "brave" enough to bring it to us. The kids discount "woo woo" as something negative, to their detriment, I believe. I think the older you get and the more you study, the more you begin to circle back to many of these ancient "mysteries."
On a different note Geoff, I really enjoy and appreciate your very thoughtful and probing interview style. Kudos and keep up the great work.

The journey I've been on from coming across Jordan Peterson in 2016 and starting to question my atheism to wanting to start my own personal "death cult" and trying out psychedelics is wild

Psychedlics is a form of pharmakia; Greek word φαρμακεία, transliterated pharmakeia, which means 'sorcery' and is prohibited in the bible.
The apostle Paul lists sorcery as one of many sinful practices that mark the lives of unbelievers: “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife . . . and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God” (Galatians 5:19-21).
Interestingly, the New Testament Greek word translated “sorcery” is pharmakeia, which is the source of our English word pharmacy. In Paul’s day, the word primarily meant “dealing in poison” or “drug use” and was applied to divination and spell-casting because sorcerers often used drugs along with their incantations and amulets to conjure occult power.

Jared Diamond has a lot of silly problems with his work - for example, that there were not animals capable of being domesticated in Sub-Saharan Africa. The zebra, for one, can be domesticated. I t hought Ryan Faulk did a great job refuting Diamond.

Would love to hear Bart Ehrman thoughts on any biblical evidence that could suggest some of the events were due to psychedelic drug use!
For example, was the burning bush just a DMT-rich acacia tree? Were the Eleusinian Mysteries a gathering where kykeon was consumed (barley/Paspalum distichum, water, mint, ergot/lsd/Claviceps purpurea)... similar to Velada used in Mazatec rituals? Or the divine mushroom of immortality (milk/honey, Amanita muscaria or Psilocybe mexicana mushroom, frankincense)?

Meh. Ehrman is probably too much of a gate keeper to even consider new ideas like this one.

The Ancient Sumerian Cuneiform, and Ancient India Vedic Texts, describe, the "Gods," as having descended to earth, walked among humans, and instructed humans, on various technological disciplines.
These "Gods," did speak of a "Creator of All," however, these "Gods," did not "Pray," to the "Creator," nor expect, any assistance, from the "Creator," in their daily lives.
Some refer, to these "Gods," as the Annunaki, others the Palladians.
Tales of these beings, stated, they enjoyed, beer, very much; and lived, extremely, long lives.
Even the Biblical Old Testament, references, the "Elohim."
Also, in the Bible, the story of Eden, described, "God's" concern, over humans, eating from "The Tree of Life," lest humans, become, as long-lived, as the "Gods!"
Now whether knowledge, of these "Gods," was achieved through psychedelic experimentation, or the events described, actually occurred, in our current "Unaltered," reality, I leave, for you, to decide/believe?
One thing is certain, something did happen, and eventually, time will tell, which, version of events, is correct, or most accurate!
    Live Well!

You may be curious the first time but.... there is a reason why David Brown does not claim his book to be historical but fiction.. lol

Do you really know what immortality really means? It means to see your planet dying, it means to see Your sun dying, it means to find or build another place to life. That is real immortality and not living on a planet , that one day will cease to exist.
