- I’ve covered it once and now it’s time to go again! Super moves in fighting game are full of personality, where your fighter can do anything during the small cutscene that plays. While some honor their fellow fighters, others one to show off at the expense of their opponent. Supers tend to show other bits of personality, so these fighters show off a bit of arrogance or just a lack of respect in a fun-loving way. Regardless, the super moves I’ll be discussing here have that air of disrespect.

I'm surprised that Dr. Doom got in over Phoenix Wright. He doesn't even beat you up, he sues you to death instead. A loss and an addition to the target's criminal record.

Gloomy Puppet Show aka "There's something wrong with the timing on this move. I'm good at rhythm games, I swear!"
I wish the Lillith Super ended with the person on stage getting random objects thrown at them
Technically a fatality and not a supermove, but Chaos from Primal Rage takes a piss on his opponent that burns them like acid. That's the definition of disrespectful.

So, next year will be 'Top Ten Disrespectful Fighting Game Super Moves (Vol. 3)' we're on to you MTTL.
I want one character to be on the list, Harley Quinn from injustice 2. She slides and makes u land on an explosive then she tells her dogs(hyenas) SNACK TIME, and when they finish biting you, she hits you with a bat while my are on the floor. To add onto this, she literally laughs in your face and says it was really fun to beat you💅💅. My gurl knows how to finish a match😘

While I only have limited knowledge of Skullgirls, I absolutely have how the character Big Band has a super that pretty much lets you play whatever the heck you want on his trumpet before he goes for the attack. Just imagine fighting Big Band, and he styles on you with whatever random song (like "Happy Birthday", for example) before finishing you off.
Big Band musical trumpet combo is its whole genre.
From fail sound effects, to music parts, to actual memes, when you see a skilled Big Band, you KNOW they're gonna place it in and style on you.
Fun fact: in team based fighting game, comboing 2 characters at the same time for a double K.O. is called a Happy Birthday. 3 characters is a Merry Christmas. There's a clip of Big Band getting a Happy Birthday in Skullgirls while playing Happy Birthday on the trumpet.
I think a truly insulting type of Super Move is the one that doesn't feel like a Super Move. The ones that are either just a slightly bigger version of a move that the fighter can already do, or it doesn't feel like it would hurt that much. Like Liu Kang's Fatality in the original Mortal Kombat game. The one where does a flip, uppercuts the opponent and, presumably, the opponent gets killed.
With that said, if you haven't done a list of the Top 10 Least Satisfying Supers in Fighting Games, I think that would be a great idea for a Countdown.

For me one of the easiest contender is Akiha tohno's last arc in melty blood type lumina. IT IS LITERALLY JUST RIPPED OFF HYPER BEAM FROM POKEMON THAT IS RED!!! THAT SO LAZY AND LAME!!!

Trivia: Out of all the climax versions of Yamazaki's Drill, the 3rd one (a.k.a. the "i'm gonna throw something completely random at you") will execute the opponent better than his level 4 version (a.k.a. the snake arm punches) in terms of gameplay

The most disrespectful super move is Dan's super taunt from Alpha 3. It doesnt do any damage and is pretty much guaranteed to get you hit but if you pull off the entire thing you win in spirit, even if you lose the match.

All Ten of these were super fun to see for the first time!! (admittedly I've never played any of these games myself) My favorites were Kohaku, Kisarah Westfield, Lilith, and Android 21 with Kohaku's probably being my number one

If it's disrespectful, I'd suggest the Touhou fighting games, specifically these three
1. Kokoro's Last Word in Hopeless Masquerade, Dance of Empty-Hearted Masks: Noh of Darkness, where she literally make a fool out of you by forcing you to wear a hiotoko mask, then dances around you while attacking you with her weapons at the same time, changing her own mask with every hit for style points
2. Marisa's Last Word in Urban Legend in Limbo, Lovery! Ms. Hanako of the Toilet, where she hit you high, allow you to drop back down to her height to immediately get hit by a powerful spinning swing right into a toilet that grows hands, the hands grabs you, pull you in, and Marisa proceeds to hold the door and pose while you're stuck in there
3. Joon's Last Word in Antinomy of Common Flowers, Extortioner of the 80s, where she grabs you, repeatedly punch you in the kidney, forcing you to release cash, jewels, and other valuables like some kind of Mario Coin Block while her sister Shion flies behind you to collect some, then Joon literally shakes you down while Shion flies around to grab the rain of cash, Joon then tosses you aside, tosses you a Bill Reminder Letter, then punches you in the face
Did I mention Joon wears rings with big gemstones on all of her fingers?
We need more aerial fighting games like these

I would say honestly Manon's level 3 critical art super is disrespectful for much like Lilith she forces her opponent to dance with her while she's singing her tune, but I guess that would consider as a honorable mentioned maybe.
I would love to see another top 10 of different fighters again soon, this time surrounding mma fighters.
Saturn's "dance" Super from Plasma Sword is a definite contender.

About Kisarah's Super.
She created that technique to annoy Joe Kusanagi, the main protagonist of Aggressors of Dark Kombat.
Kisarah's story is that she is traveling all over the world to find Joe because of a promise Joe and Kisarah made as children.
In Kisarah's ending, her and Joe started dating.
Neo Geo Battle Coliseum takes place some time later, in Kisarah's story, she is looking for her missing boyfriend. When she makes her Jealousy Bomber instead of the imaginary dude from Aggressors, she casts an illusion of Joe, referring to the fact that they're a couple 😊
Hope we see Kisarah in a new game.
With her having her wrestler moveset from Aggressors of Dark Kombat and her redesign from NGBC 😄

Like all the characters in Aggressors of Dark Kombat, Kisarah has some brutal moves, as you mentioned her armbreaker.
And yes, her 'Death by Snu Snu' (AKA her 'R34 grab') is the best way to die 😆😏
That technique is actually called 'Kami-Shiho-Gatame', a real judo hold.
That is another reason why I like Kisarah, not many female characters are as bold as her (maybe Shermie from KOF) 😁

It made me laugh so hard that I decided to play Aggressors of Dark Kombat using her and I had a lot of fun!
Thanks to Kisarah I discovered ADK and their games (World Heroes, Ninja Master's, Twinkle Star Sprites, etc) and that is how I became an ADK fan 😊

It's disappointing to see a 2nd list and still no Cagliostro. How is giving someone a middle finger or turning them into a sweet more disrespectful than turning them into a giant golden statue of yourself?
I'm more of a Belial fan (mainly because of the funny counter), but Cagliostro is just absolutely disrespectful as a whole. How do you even recover from being buried in a gold statue of Cagliostro herself, throne included?

I'm not actually a part of Software Agents team, but I'm sure they can answer if you ask on their channel! They're just a channel I've collabed with, a lot more in the past since they've been focusing on their own content recently, but I know they said they were doing more tournaments in the comment section of their most recent video.
I personally feel like Makoto’s Seichusen Godanzuki is sort of disrespectful in a way. It’s really just the air time for me. Imagine hitting someone so hard, they’re flying in the air for nearly 5 whole seconds, and using that time to announce the name of your attack. Obviously doesn’t compare to most of these, but I still think that attacks comes with a certain level of disrespect.
im not sure if this was included or if it even counts but that one move peacock does in skull girls where she bags you up shouts "all together now!" you get jumped beaten with a bat by a bomb, she pulls a "gar" then blows you up with said bomb. absolutely disrespectful..
Kohaku's Comet Sweep Last Arc sure does lack the respect of whoever gets hit by it. And can you please make any of these ideal topics sometime soon?

I always thought Dr. Doom said "Escape Hope" at the end of his super. But yeah, he is the most disrespectful in the game. He was and still probably is a top tier character in Marvel 3
Really surprised I haven't seen Velvet's level 3 super from Them's Fightin' Herds. Being the trope-typical haughty zoner character, not only does she taunt and dance around you throughout the match, treat you being anywhere near her as an offensive social taboo, roll her eyes when she blocks your attacks as if you're wasting her time, and spends her idle motions touching up her makeup...but her Level 3 starts off with a taunt before freezing you into a solid block of ice before literally sculpting it into a statue to be graded by contest judges. If she doesn't KO the opponent with it, she freaks out over you being so worthless that you can't even make a good statue before shattering the ice, but if she does then the judges give her a perfect 10/10 score as she performs another taunt for a cinematic round end pose next to the frozen opponent-statue.
Hm, nice lineup, i wonder if there will be a Vol 3?

I wonder if the rose thing also comes from Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon, from Saint Seiya(one of the Gold Knights fights in a rose field and his main weapon is roses, albeit apparently super roses including white roses that become red by draining the foe's blood) and JAKQ Dengekitai, the 2nd Super Sentai series(the franchise that got adapted into Super Sentai) as it's White Ranger is pretty popular these days and his main gimmick was appearing to rescue the team, politely introduce himself and throw roses at the monsters of the week, including exploding roses.

I would like to suggest a Top 10 Yugioh Monster that should be Illusion type, considering that they introduced this new type by making retrains of the Gazelle King of the Mythical Beast and card to work around this.
In the Touhou fighting games the ultimate move is called a last word, and there are some good ones. Personal favorite disrespectful ones are: Marisa's from Urban Legends in Limbo where she knocks you into a haunted restroom with grabby hands before closing the door; as well as Joon & Shion's in Antinomy of Common Flowers where they just strait up mug you.

In dragon ball fighterz android 16 has a level 3 instant kill move where he using a bomb in him to self-destruct putting him at one HP, but you can just use it on the last character to end it quickly and it's a grab

Kuma from SFxT. He swipes at you hard enough to daze you, let’s you conveniently collapse onto his backside, and farts in your face.
That one made it on the first volume of the list! One of the OHKO moves in Tekken normally, so a good choice for a super move.
I don't know who this chick is. But in Honkai Star Rail, this chick sits down sipping tea as a whole ass SATALITE shoots you from above and blows you up. And Mortal KO bat 1: Sonya Blade as a fighting mate hits with an RKO. And Reiko, as part of his move set, does a DDT as a grapple

I feel the most disrespectful aspect of 21's super move is the tossing aside bit because its adding a element of dissing the other character to it(basically making it disrespectful feeling to even people who don't feel like the move itself is disrespectful).
I discovered Blazblue because of the first video (and i love using Hazama). Tho, i'm surprised for not seeing the 50 meter taunt from Terumi. Or Faust's Special from Guilty Gear, where... Well, he has a lot of silly stuff in Xrd/Accent Core.
Honestly, you don't always get away with using Terumi's counter, but when you do, it just makes the opponent feel like an absolute moron for not seeing it coming. Terumi with meter is someone you do not want to approach without a plan, and I love playing him for that.

lord zedd is just a smig worse simply because he grabs a bunch of putties (weakes mooks in the series to stomp you out and then poses on you and it took me some time to get used to gloomy puppet show but if you get 100 you can do mad damage. its random but there are only five paterns so just wait for the light punch one and you'll be fine.
We better get Johnny Cage from MK11 or MK1 in the next one. No one humiliates his opponents quite like him.
