Chaat Heaven of India | Delhi's Popular Bhalla Papdi Chaat | Indian Street Food

Right outside Chawri Bazar metro station is this heaven called Ashok Chaat Bhandar! The best dish you can try here are the Kalmi Vada and Bhalla Papdi Chaat. Every chaat preparation here was awesome and the flavours of spices are still in our memories! Apart from the regular Dahi Bhalla chaat, golgappas and Aloo papdi chaat were good too.

Lot of folks out here are commenting on this food being unhygienic , unhealthy, full of bacterias etc. This looks reasonably OK to me except the guy using his hands too much.But those who are not Indians , let me tell you that this is one of the most popular Indian street foods, 100 times better than American burgers, subs, fries & 1000 times healthier than fried cockroaches, bats, frogs & other creatures that Chinese & other East Asian countries eat in the name of street food.

Everytime i travel to delhi i visit chawri bazar specially for this chat papri , the taste is simply amazing , cant even compare it with any place else . And a few shops (*approx 100 shops away ) in the same lane there is this aloo chat wala , he is damn good too .

Kamal hai logo ki, they find only the negatives. 50 rupees mein itna sab kuch mil raha, and I can see his utensils, savouries hands everthing is clean. In Delhi Lajpat ngr, I came upon to have little talk with a chaat wala, he was a post graduate and selling aloo tikki and daal samosa. Pls dont mock at others. India was not at all a culture of using spoons, gloves etc. It is only the demand of the present time we can say.
