Go for it man! I'm 74 and switched to low brass about six years ago after injuring my embouchure and not being able to play the trumpet very well as a result.

I played Caravan as an encore when I was on tour with my orchestra in Belgium and the Netherlands. It was a much faster arrangement but it was my favorite piece from the program we played. It's now my favorite piece of music aside from An American In Paris by Gershwin! Love the trombone solo

Edit: I tried to play one of those little parts and I think it went okay, obviously not as good of tone as him, but i'm gonna put it on my channel if anyone wants to watch it
