That a beauitful memories when I saw video. I started collecting my old memories. When I was in ORT India and was invited by Jewish of Cochin Mr Koder and Mr Sunny head of community to Mr Guedj (Director) of ORT India Spend for Succoth ten day enjoyed and thank to kochin family gave us worm welcome which old family are in israel netivot same typed Synaguge they have made for there memory
Wow! When their ancestors left israel centuries ago, to settle here, they would have never imagined a day when their descendents would come back from across the world to honour their coming and stay in India.

There was a thriving Jewish trading community called "Anchuvannam" in Kollam during the 9th century CE. This is mentioned in the Tharissappally copper plates of 849 CE given by the Venad king to the west Asian migrant christian community of 823 CE called "Nasranies". There is a need to unearth other historical evidences about this Kollam jewish community just like the Kochi and Chendamangalam jews ! Hope the Israeli embassy in India as well as the Israeli govt. at Jerusalem will do something about it.
