When you realized that Mantle is literally part of Atlas, so James getting riding of Mantle in order to save Atlas is an equivalent of saving Canada by getting rid of Toronto.
I agree, Chris Sabat is a fantastic voice actor who seems to play the characters he voices perfeclty. He's a pretty popular voice actor too, voicing well-known anime characters such as Vegeta, Piccolo, All Might, Alex Louis Armstrong, Roronoa Zoro, etc.

It's his fault, I feel like people are assuming that he's like Qrow when there's no indication that he is. He uses his Semblance because he thinks he knows best, so good decisions are a result of his own poor judgement.

It’s funny how the top center guy so confidently denies it when watts says that penny’s mechanical body will succumb to the virus, open the vault, and destroy herself when in reality all 3 of those things did technically end up happening
Okay can we talk about Cinders record she literally only lose two fights legitimately against Raven with a Vernal assist and against Maiden Penny which Penny straight won but other than that Cinder has literally won every fight in the series and still has the biggest W out of all the villains in the series
The only reasons Cinder wins anything is because she either has someone help her or because she has her maiden powers. Sometimes she wins by pure luck too. Sometimes it's all a combination. I can name multiple instances of this happening. She had to recruit an assassin and someone with an illusion semblance so that she could suck out just a bit of Amber's power. On top of that, Amber was incredibly inexperienced, as noted by Ozpin himself. Cinder and her buddies had to run away as soon as an experienced huntsman showed up. She was only able to suck out the rest of Amber's power because she was comatose, couldn't defend herself, and Jaune happened to look away for five seconds. Then, Cinder fights Ozpin and only wins because she's drunk off her new powers, and he's alone because everyone else is too busy dealing with the Grimm. She didn't even help cause the fall of Beacon either. The only thing she did was deliver a speech, which anyone else could have done. Then she nearly gets bested by an emotionally unstable 17 year old who lost a literal half of her weapon. She only won because a massive dragon slammed into the tower they were fighting on. Next, she gets her arm and eye blown off by a 15 year old girl. Roman was able to fight against Ruby with no problem, even without a semblance or maiden powers. He only died because Ruby has plot armor and he let his emotions get away from him in just enough time for a Grimm to eat him. She invites all of team RWBY, the remaining members of JNPR, and the huntsman who she ran away from, to Lionheart's academy in an attempt to ambush them when she could have just walked in and taken the Relic. All because she has a grudge on a child. Next, when she has to fight against someone who has maiden powers too, she has to try and rely on her own fighting skills. Except she doesn't have any! She is so sure of herself that she doesn't even consider planning or improving her fighting. She altered the plan and they lost a relic because of it. Because of her own instability. When she has to fight Penny, she makes the same mistakes and doesn't plan ahead. And we all know how that ended up. And finally, she threatens and eventually kills Salem's best henchman, who doesn't let his own grudges get to him and was the one who planned everything. Some of his plans would have succeeded too, if Cinder didn't alter them! She isn't a migraine, she's a liability and Salem only keeps her around because she needs her to open a vault.

Keep in mind she had absolutely no experience with most of her maiden powers, and had no time to train against an equal opponent with the ones she stole at first, meaning she has much less experience than even Amber. Still, she kills the most experienced magic user on Remnant (besides maybe Salem, given she lived for so long on a destroyed planet with nothing to do). Then Pyrrha is killed. Then, before Ruby can fight her, Ruby’s silver eyes activate (unconsciously, so really it was less Ruby blowing off her arm and taking her eye in battle than it was her happening to have those powers and having an emotional response so strong they activate). The only reason Cinder was even hurt from the eyes was because ( I think ) part of the Grimm that took Ambers powers is still inside of her. At Haven, Cinder was stupid and waited because she held a grudge like you said. She beat Jaune and would have killed Weiss had his semblance not activated (which wasn’t really her, more Vernal, but anyways). She is beaten by Raven in the vault, which should come as no surprise, given Raven has likely had years to practice, while at this point, Cinder has only had at most a couple of months. At Atlas, she did totally lose against Penny and Maria at Amity, even with Neo and Emerald’s help. she hasn’t even really begun to fight against Penny yet in Fria’s room when Ruby intervenes and forces a retreat with her powers. In the vault, Cinder and Neo best (an albeit unstable) team RWBY, Jaune, and Penny. In this fight, everyone except Yang(fell from Neopolitan) and Penny(killed by Jaune) fall by Cinder’s hand. She retreats after Winter shows up and she acquires both Relics, knowing that Salem only needs the them and the maiden powers are secondary.

I don't think a win against Ozpin, alone, means much when you have maiden powers. Ozpin says himself that his own magic is dwindling. And we can safely assume that he gave away maybe 60-80% of his magic to the first maidens. Hazel, someone WITHOUT MAIDEN POWERS, managed to subdue Salem, someone who still has LOTS OF FUCKING MAGIC, and had 'killed' her many times before. So either Hazel is SO stronger than the fall maiden, or Cinder just sucks ass. and you CANNOT tell me that Salem didn't train Cinder to be able to fight without maiden shit. There is NO way that Cinder just learned it all by herself. And also, Rhodes trained her too. Cinder also had YEARS of training from, one, an experienced huntsman, and two, an immortal magic witch. Cinder is absolutely just dog shit at fighting and we both know it. Also, I find it absolutely HILARIOUS that Cinder got her arm sliced by Winter before her maiden powers and without her aura activated either.
Hopefully, in Volume 10, that's going to change. Cinder's endgame has to come sooner or later, or it'll be like what happened to Summer or Maria. How this plays out depends on the writers.
Whilst that's true, I would argue that the victory at Beacon was Pyrrhic as Ruby seriously injured her at the end. The main issue I had with Cinder was that she expected to effectively just turn up and get what she wants. Even after those big losses, Cinder still had that attitude and it was really annoying me and apparently Watts, as he decided to call her out on it.
The sad truth of ironwoods ultimatum is he’s 100% right he can either get the help willingly or forcefully mantle and atlas cannot both survive atlas has a better chance of survival but to truly do that he needs penny
I’m on Team Ironwood. He’s willing to do what no one would ever do. He’s willing to do what needs to be done, no matter who dies or gets hurt. True, he’s turning into the "Heartless Tin Man" and that he’s taking this way beyond the term "far".
