I have just got one of these but running the larger 16 gage nails-great tool ( I inadvertently put in some 18ga nails and it seemed to work OK with those as well-probably not great for it though)
@@fortunecollector that tiny LED uses hardly any power. It stays on for a long time because, unlike a driver, it will likely be used on a roof where the light suddenly turning off might be dangerous. It would also be kinda sketchy to have to 'tap' the trigger to make the light turn on.
It is possibly the worst Makita cordless tool if the reviews are anything to go by. It is a dud tool. The DFN350 is a cute little nailer and I quite like it, but I can't fire larger than a 32mm with it.
If I could have gotten a Makita one for a decent price I would have given it a go. But they start at around $650 here, whereas I got the Hitachi for $270
Hi there! I'm thinking about this nailer, it Will be my first nailer. What nail brand would you guys recommend buying? Tacwise looks like a very budget friendly choice, is it to cheap? Will it fit this gun? I'm only a rookie hobby wood worker. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Everywhere has different brands so hard to say. But what you need to buy are 'C1 Brads' between 15mm and 50mm. Galvanised are best to get as you can use them inside and outside.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL Thank you for aswering me sir. I found these on amazon but can´t find the specific c1 term. It says: Compatible with the Tacwise C1832V (Amazon code: B006XBTLVO) and DGN50V (Amazon code: B006XBTADS) brad nailers
Great Video. I just bought this and after opening it I was Clueless as to how to use it lol. Subscribed to both channels!

Buying one tomorrow 🤠
I have one of these and it is fantastic
Is the led work light suppose to stay on at all times? Mine stays on the whole time the power is on.
It turns off after about 15mins maybe 30mins can't remember.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL thanks. It should turn off after 20 seconds.. Kinda draining battery having it stay on for 30 min.

Will this fire staples? Been searching online and can find zero information about it
No. Just 18g c1 brads 16mm-50mm
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL ok cool, thanks for the quick reply!
How did you manage to get one with the bump fire?
You can get Bump fire in 18 gauge nailers, just not anything larger. 16, 15 and framers are all full sequential in NZ.
I bought the framer in the u.s. and it has the bump fire. It's an epic tool.
