- A long time ago I used to make small mods with items I though would fit perfectly within the game's design. So let's see what I've come up with.

ngl i didn't expect much, but these ideas are actually SO good, like, insane
equilibrium would actually be pretty cool as an item in the actual game, and possibly by far one of the strongest utility items too
what would be neat polish tho (apart from a bit more creative sprite and costume probably) is if instead of just constantly balancing out your pickups, it instead merged them all into one in your hud (similar to how duality merges the devil and angel chance)
because that's what it essentially does, just merges all of your pickups into one fluid ressource
maybe even change all keys, bombs and coins on the ground into various piles of goop, but at that point we would just be approaching the drawn or whatever the name of that character was, also would take away from the hype of finding a dime
but like just imagining the potential is making me pretty excited
pyro and skeleton key would go from "guess i won't be needint bombs/keys anytime soon" to "holy shit i'm rich"
also imagine how it would interact with deep pockets pog
I feel like the amount of them should be toned down tho, bombs an keys would lose all their value since they are situational
Damn that sucks that you lost all that work. Having done similar things, I feel your pain. Well done on the showcased items though, definitely downloading those!
That's why now I make triple backups on important stuff. Lesson learned!

now make EVIL equilibrium which also includes your hearts into the equation
The D36 sounds quite fun. Equilibrium, good. And, uh, if you need someone to make silly voices for uh, your King cards (and other soul stones/cards from mods like fiend folio and such), lemme know.
Equilibrium is such an interesting item with a very simple and easy to understand concept.
Silver Nickel + Equilibrium is such a fun and unexpected game break, allowing you to rack up infinite pickups.
Equilibrium also pairs well with Deep Pockets (specifically with the room coin drops), but stops you from ever being able to get above 100 coins. Whether it is worth it or not depends on the situation.

Seeing these old mods gives me so much nostalgia, glad to see them mentioned nowadays!
Wait, those were YOU??? I still have Lucky Charm and Bloody Clover! Those are pretty good trinkets.

@@IsaacGuru- They're pretty good mods! Definitely enjoyed the trinkets the most, since especially back in Afterbirth+, the variety of trinkets of any quality higher than "hold onto it until you get a better one" was pretty slim pickings. Having a few more trinkets that you could use to actually build your run was mighty handy!
Micro genetics suffers from the same problem eraser does. Too many enemies, most floors having 2 or more enemie types per room. Def a quality 3 item.

Secind of all, this on at 11:06 would be amazing with panic button
All of these mods are awesome but for me Equilibrium stands out the most, it feels so great that it should be in the game, yes it feels strong to have no key and bomb fear, but at the same time you risk losing all shop items and it makes bomb builds even funnier, also golden tear sprite looks lovely, maybe it's from golden razor, not sure

That blazing poop trinket is really damn cool dude.
It could straight up be in the game.
I love the dehydration mod. Instead of a chance to block damage from projectiles, you can make them disappear with the active item or make them not appear at all with the passive and trinket.
Well, i have some sugestions for mods [note: You don't need to take them seriously, i just wanna know if You can do the items]
Monstruous clay: in the Retribution mod, there's an item called "sculpting clay" that gives You the ability to create a copy of the nearest non active item [like Diplo but for items, and You can use it once per floor]. Well, monstruous clay can create copies up to 15 times, but it deletes itself after the 15th use!
Mom's call: instead of shooting tears, Isaac "invokes" his mother's foot [like epic fetus: reduces a Lot your tearrate, but it does 40 times the damage]
Floating rock: gives You a HEAVY all stats up, and works like rock bottom... But instead of completely nullifying the Bad effects, they just fall slowly [eg: when You get polyphemus, your tearrate is 2.73, but it'll decrease until it reaches the original cap, 1.06]
i only watch TBOI, so i don't think i would be able to try it out, but i definitely would try this stuff out if i did, it's really well made

You should make more mods since all of these aren’t so bad.
There's some good ideas. Love the silver dollar conversion, love the d36, love the DNA thing (would love it to include alot more things, like fires and spikes, and vis brimstone and vis contact damage vis separate, and alot more) and equilibrium is amazing. I'm curious on how It will work with deep pockets

That fire poop trinket should be in the game. I died more times to that stuff as tainted lost than anything thats supposed to be a real threat.
I saw a comment ask this so... A tutorial or some tips with making isaac mods would be awesome actually, some of these are fantastic ideas!

Honestly a trinket to pacify poops and fires wouldnt be terrible, id split them and make it be like a bottle of pepto and an oven mitt or somthing along those lines
I think with a bit of re-drawing the mods could fit in with the game really well

i can imagined the blazing poop item would instead replace poops with fireplaces
Out of curiosity, did you make the items/trinkets that turn blue flies into white locusts any effects aside from just... replacing them? Because if you didn't then those items literally do nothing aside from making all the other fly modifier items worse (since white locusts do the same thing as blue flies, it's just that Locust of Conquest and the Conquest from 7 Seals spawn more than 1 at once).
I did, 1 Blue Fly will get converted into 2 White Locusts, just like they work with other items.
A downisde for the dna: isaac takes double damage from the next enemy he gets damaged by.

I have an idea for an item "blessed candle" it's quality 3 angel/treasure room pool and it makes it so you will have a curse on every floor but it has 75% chance to be a blessing instead they have complete opposite effects of curses for example blessing of knowledge will replace curse of the lost and it gives you full knowledge of the map like mind does
Funny enough an item like this was one of the many in my now-lost mod pack. It was called "Sacred Moon" and it gave a blessing on every floor.

Yes, the mods still work in Repentance - the video was recorded in Repentance and I did not notice any issues.
These mod has never been update? On steam their updata is still in 2020 and i thought it could only be used on afterbirth.@@IsaacGuru
