I disagree, he actually offered the sharks an incredible deal to begin with given his revenue to date. Currently Copa Di Vino is worth close to 100 million, he offered Kevin 51% for 3 million. Looking back I'm sure Kevin regrets not making a deal.

It eventually came out that he actually didnt even own the patent for the glass. He was exclusively licensing it from someone else. Another company did the same thing on shark tanks. That explains why he wouldn’t consider what they were saying. If he did own it it would be a no brainer business wise to do that

4:45 Such a nice little detail that Barbara have some photos in the folder she's holding. It's like a reminder that under the cold and prudent demeanor of a businessmen and businesswomen, sharks are still human. They have feelings and people they care about. When you watch the show you tend to see those people like a characters of this show, and moments like these bring you back into reality, to real human beings.

it obviously was going to be a good deal only for kevin because he becones the majority shareholder for the intellectual property and gets to control operations and whatever revolves around the usage of the intellectual property now goes to kevin, leaving him with less authority over the intellectual property and would in the future always require kevin’s consent to use it.
