It will be very, very interesting to see what happens if Shinrarta goes into Thargoid control. As a player, I don't mind going to other systems to buy ships and modules. In fact, I sometimes do to get higher discount. But the psycological effect is the big effect of whoever controls this system.
As I write this (Sat 21st, 0100 in-game time), Shinrarta Dezhra is at 34% progress to pushing back the invasion. With the weekend ahead, I think it can reach 100% by the Thursday morning server tick. And the CG target of 8 Trillion credits is on course to finish on Wednesday morning. So I don't think (as it stands) we lose Shin/Jameson this week to either the CG or the usual Invasion mechanic. But that's not to say we won't see reinforcements over the next few weeks, and the efforts to hold back the invasions and counterstrikes around Titan Raijin have been severely diluted this week as we focus on The Bubble. It's all rather lovely from an in-game and meta storytelling point of view.

" Thanks for watching and don't forget to tune in next week, to find out ".
"...same bat-time, same bat-channel."
Although this week The Scout is a ay early, for obvious reasons!
