Damn Dishwalla, this may be better than the original. Your heart is still there with your buddy, skipping racks, with each note hitting with the bass, an drums!! Keep playing, you are 90s staples my mans!!!
Love them !!!! Awesome version. It took me back to the mid 90s. I when. I really. Enjoyed playing it loud in my 1977. Oldsmobile regency. Probably the best times of My life
So weird not hearing JR singing it. Great rendition of it though. I couldn’t of been more proud of my cousin when his first album came out and his continued success.♥️
It is like replacing a Van Gogh, replacing Da Vinci, putting another into the place of Shakespeare, perhaps overdramatic yes...I admit, however must say this mans vocals are awesome, but in the end you cannot replace JR Richards vocals. And the only way to escape that perception is to come out with a song equal to or better than his.
Yeah, I like to think of this as a cover rather than just switching out the singer and still calling it Dishwalla. It's not Dishwalla if JR isn't there. It is a great version though.
@@stephenvalastro5678 Absolutely serious. The original is monumentally better than this garbage by comparison alone. Are you arguing it's as good or even close to doing the original justice? I understand variations and evolution of songs but this is none of that. I never said his voice is bad just his tone and his approach to singing it. It just doesn't suit this particular song. The original song was great hence why it became a single and essentially put this band on the map. This version had it been it the original's place would've done nothing but ensure a one-hit-wonder like Dishwalla would've been a no-hit-wonder. This is just my opinion but it does come from the point of view of a person working in the music industry for over 25 years. Whether you give that merit or agree is entirely up to you. That's the beautiful thing about music. 🤘🏼
@@rspkt808 Wht I'm saying is this guy is singing in the back of a bus and it sounds amazing he's not in a studio. Second I don't judge people and their talents no two singers are the same so I like each in their own way.
@@R.Alicsz This voice wont pass the 90s grunge alternative type of music. No comparison to the 90s awesome vocalists. Dishwalla with JR, Incubus, Pearl Jam, Bush, Collective Soul, Foo Fighters, etc.

I remember hearing this song from my uncles like a decade ago.... Takes me back
vocal is so clean!!!

He sounds a bit like Bono, contrast to JR's deep voice..hearing to a different version of the song. A different perspective. 🙂😁👍🤘
Woah do they have a new lead singer now?? He's pretty goood though!!
WHOA!
Nice cover band!
great
Who Is that guy?????!!!! Where r JR?????
The lead singer kinda reminds me of my dad :') just his mannerisms and stuff
Without JR singing, you might as well be a Dishwalla cover band… not the same.
Is it just me or does the dude playing the keyboard look a lot like Benedict Comberbatch in this video?
JR Richards donde está?
Where can i find the notes for this performance?
Sounds like a cover band without J.R.'s voice...

i agree. he has great vcals but JR richards has a unique voice. classic dishwalla. still love it though.

who the fuck is this vox? he sounds very different. more like a grown up justin bieber or something
New vocalist definitely doesn't have the range and tone necessary for this song.

Singer is ruining the song.
