I was at the City of David June 2010. WE sifted through the rubble with tools and a garden hose to force water over the sediments looking for bones, coins special stones, bizantine things and of course earlier times. Thank you for this video. Shalom Ya'll....

I had the pleasure and privilege of being on a tour with Eli Shukron as one of our guides. He is such an intelligent, and humble man of God. He taught us about many historical events while we walked through the very places where they happened. It was almost surreal. I have shaken the hand that the bell was once on.
"And ye saw the breaches of the city of David, that they were many; and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool." Isaiah 22:9

May I say that I always enjoy archaeology. I am not formally educated, but I love learning. Also, one could say that it takes faith to believe the Bible. But, when things come from the earth and prove what is written, evidence, it makes it so much more real. Great presentation Looking forward to other tours.

This was beautiful, educational and very moving. Thank you! How exciting and incredible to find tangible evidence of Biblical truth! What are the chances of finding a clay seal belonging to "a servant of King Josiah - King David's great, great, great, great grandson" whose name is specifically mentioned in the Bible? Unless there were many servants with the same name, it's highly unlikely that the seal you show us at the 11:05 mark belonged to another servant. I love it when archeology validates the existence of a person or event in the Bible. Even if a person does not believe in the Bible or in any of the events or people mentioned, the fact that archeology is proving at least some aspects of it to be true is wonderful and exciting to me. Thank you again for this presentation. I would like to visit Israel some day. I am Christian. My roots are with you and your people.

Utterly amazing! I'm reading my way through the Old Testament, and I'm up to 1st Kings. Having just imagined so much of King David's life and surroundings, it's AMAZING to see this now. Thousands of years, and so much is still there.

Great to see some of the building specifications pursued by Solomon and mentioned in the Bible, namely here that the Temple Mount was to be built of hewed stones stacked to finish in a uniform vertical plane.
