But stating that people power tripping by driving over the crosswalk being a worthwhile problem is a bit of a stretch to me. If the worst behavior we see out of this is people making burn-out marks on a crosswalk out of protest of the LGTBQ movement, then I’d say we’ve come a VERY long way from earlier attitudes of only 10 years ago. If activists can mark a public road, so should counter protestors. Free speech must be protected for everyone, it’s the key to CIVIL discussion and dissent. Take away free speech and expression, and now the only way to communicate is through less civil means. But just to reiterate, I only advocate for civil protest. Fires are not good, but tire marks are inconsequential considering the circumstances (it being on a road and all). Though we have very different experiences with the LGTBQ community, we absolutely must agree that state prosecution based on ideological influence is bad for everyone equally. My opinions be damned, the only thing that matters is addressing unjust punishments that don’t match the severity of the crime. Those kids should at most receive community service hours.

How can you expect americans to "focus on bigger issues" when they're too busy dopamine powertripping over burning out their tires and setting fire to things they "see in different light".
If seeing things in different light is justification for this kind of behavoir then I certainly understand why kids today are turning to the LGBT, protesting, and activism to seek unity
@@therebornnewb0980 But those three kids can face a 10-year sentence if the judge were to throw the book at them. The harshness of these punishments scream “politically-motivated”. That is an extremely troubling issue to have when the state can openly prosecute on ideological grounds. But dangerous forms of protest are irrefutably bad (fires, etc), and I agree with you on 100%.
