Myles Kennedy is single-handedly the greatest modern songwriter of our time. Lyrically, melodically, and musically. Period. If we lived in an era where people respected legitimate musical talent, he would have a house full of Grammys.

My god... when I listened to Myles' new songs on youtube (my copy of the album is still stuck in customs), I kinda skipped this one because the title sounded so cheesy. Accidentally this turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made. Because yesterday, hearing this song live and for the first time... it was hauntingly beautiful. In that moment Myles had the heart of even the hardest metal dude in the crowd in the palm of his hand.

My mom past away May 15,2017, one day after mothers day, she was oldest of 13, her sister was 9 she past away Feb 14,1969 n her dad Thanksgiving of 1969 and when my mom had my brother March 1, 1970. Few days later my grandma past away, being the oldest daughter niece grandchild, is hard my family all knows I'm strong but times I need someone to be alone and think of our loved ones n take care of our family, our dad past away on moms birthday Sept 21,2018. My brother Vern really helped me to be strong, mom said to me babe I don't want you crying for her, for the longest time she would tell me where to take her after she past away, we done what she wanted, our dad would talk to me n Vern, we also took him where he wanted to go, This song helped me heal... Of course I heard Mayfield Four, he did some insane high vocals there. But at this video he embraces his mid-range vocals which he doesn't do often in AB or with Slash.

My god... when I listened to Myles' new songs on youtube (my copy of the album is still stuck in customs), I kinda skipped this one because the title sounded so cheesy. Accidentally this turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made. Because yesterday, hearing this song live and for the first time... it was hauntingly beautiful. In that moment Myles had the heart of even the hardest metal dude in the crowd in the palm of his hand.
OnceAgainICantSleep I can absolutely relate to that! Gave me chills when I heard it live in Cologne last week, although I've heard it zillion times before (this album plays nonstop in my car). Just a man and his guitar and he is able to reach right into the hearts of his audience, what an amazing artist and humble human being!

My mom past away May 15,2017, one day after mothers day, she was oldest of 13, her sister was 9 she past away Feb 14,1969 n her dad Thanksgiving of 1969 and when my mom had my brother March 1, 1970. Few days later my grandma past away, being the oldest daughter niece grandchild, is hard my family all knows I'm strong but times I need someone to be alone and think of our loved ones n take care of our family, our dad past away on moms birthday Sept 21,2018. My brother Vern really helped me to be strong, mom said to me babe I don't want you crying for her, for the longest time she would tell me where to take her after she past away, we done what she wanted, our dad would talk to me n Vern, we also took him where he wanted to go,
