There's a helicopter patrol (fire/rescue?) that goes through the canyon daily. Sometimes one direction, sometimes the other. Times vary too: mid-morning, late afternoon, after dark, etc. Campfires are generally a really bad idea out there. Some other things (like drones) are seriously un-cool to take out there. Things to bring: sunscreen, sunburn lotion, bug repellant, ice, and a friendly attitude.
This was a beautiful hike. However, the steep incline on the way back was challenging, especially with the desert sun beating down! My legs are still feeling it a day later. After visiting the hot springs, I went in the opposite direction along the PCT to the bridge, which was actually my favorite part.
Thank you sir!!! I recently heard about this hike and stumbled across your video. So helpful and fun to watch lol. Just liked the vid and subscribed. Hope you post lots of stuff like this! Keep making vids please! Just missing the link to the qualudes lmfao
@@miguelfragoso7023 Nope. The boomers are the ones that pick up all the trash come once a week to scrub all the spas and are always there to help. It's the newer generations that come and mess it up because they posted on social media.
It's an uphill but not difficult relative to other hikes in SoCal. If you're out of shape and/or it's really hot out, it will probably feel worse than it is.
Hiked this trail today. Unfortunately, on a Saturday. The steep portion near the end was difficult, but not impossible. Loved soaking in the hot pools, but yes, it was crowded. And several clothing optional folks. Ewe! The hike back out was strenuous. Took about 2 hours. There is another way in called Bowen Ranch. From the high desert. May try that one next time.
Bowen Ranch is not super fun but it does work. You can also go up and down the ridge instead of the steep section. Check this out for more on both: hikingguy.com/hiking-trails/best-la-hikes/deep-creek-hot-springs-hike/
@anthony diaz different times, I guess. In the sixties and most of the seventies before I left LA no one had any clothes on. then came the eighties, and I'm in Canada. Men were naked, women had bathing suits. Hot springs accurately are kind of a barometer to the times!!! No one left trash then, and in Canada you almost NEVER see trash near hot springs. W e would walk into deep creek from the other side, but not all the way to the springs, and walk out once the heat of the day started falling off.
Why hike 3hours if you can find the same natural spring water at Desert Hot Springs , CA. It's a $10 all day pass to use the saunas and pools both filled with natural hot spring water. Desert Hot Spring Hotel and Spa is highly recommended Do the hike just for the hike. The spa is open 24 hours if you are a hotel guest.
You are super super helpful to even provide all the details, like everything. I read your blog about this. Thank you so much. God bless.
Thank you 🙏👍 Glad the guides have come in handy!
I am going to be in Arrowhead all next week and this and your Pinnacles video are perfectly timed! Can't wait to try these and thanks!
Awesome, glad the timing worked out. Aiming to get some more in the Lake Arrowhead area this summer too. So many hikes that I want to do...
Great tour!

What's the bid deal by taking a drone
@@dontbelazy007 There are some people naked.I was there 1,5 week ago and got them on my video.
Been meaning to go here. Thanks for the video. Your videos are solid.
Thanks, yea, it's a good one, worth doing at least once.

Hey so what’s the gps input to reach that less populated entrance
Check the guide (link under video) for all the details
There is a campground right ?
I think PCT hikers are the only ones allowed to officially camp in the area, but other people do.
How do I get directions or which way is the short way? How many miles?
Check out the article in the link.
Why does it say on other websites that its a difficult hike? Is it the way back?

Hahaha....I know your stuff is generally "informational" and you were providing good information, but that was funny!!
Ha, thanks, yea, there was a lot of material nicely tee'd up for me on this one...
