Yes. He recognized and rewarded the contributions of the employees to the company's success. Most corporations these days seem intent on extracting every last cent of potential profit. Profits are good, but there's no reason the benefits have to be focused on the CEOs, etc.. Sharing the benefits company-wide is better for society.
